The washing machine and dryer were cheap and easy to use

The room was great, simple but comfortable. I was looking forward to sleep in my tatami room and it was very cozy and cute. Everything was super clean. The shampoo and conditioner smell very very nice. The hosts were very nice and the breakfast set was perfect. The kitchen and common area are very welcoming too. There is a supermarket a few minutes away, perfect to cook.

Bring earplugs. The walls are paper thin and I could hear every discussion happening in the other rooms. The hostel is small with the rooms and showers on the same floor, so I could hear all the coming and going.

- It is located in a quiet local neighborhood where you can enjoy a starry night and have a restful stay. - Tourist spot Matsushima is within walking distance.  ~17 minutes and there are lots of museums along the road. - You can enjoy your meal at the café (the options nearby are very limited, especially at night), but there is a supermarket just a 5-minute walk away.   - The staff are very helpful.

- (not really related to the property) Only one train runs per hour.

Everything was perfect, the room is simple but very nice, the shower area clean and spacious, you can have access to a kitchen and common room space. The staff was really nice, even helped me call my next accommodation to solve a problem, and the café seemed lovely. I would have stayed another night in Matsushima for the hostel. It's also very close to the station and I walked easily to the marina bay and the temple.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Super friendly staff, clean facilities, speedy wifi and located very close to the train station. The owner can make delicious and reasonably priced food in the cafe, so please have breakfast there. Best French toast I have ever eaten. He is also very helpful when it comes to suggesting activities for the day, and lovely to talk to! 100% would return again!

Nothing at all.

The hostel host was so helpful and welcoming. Recommended and reserved an amazing sashimi restaurant for us. Great bar and breakfast in the cafe downstairs. We were able to also prepare our own meals in the guest kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

It's very clean and futon is very comfy. Please try their breakfast and pudding. It's awesome.

Cozy new and clean accommodation, with nice owners

Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

Bridge33 is a charming spot in Matsushima, about 30 min by train from central Sendai. Lovely staff, clean and comfortable facilities, spacious rooms, and great vibes overall! I highly recommend ordering breakfast and trying one of their divine custard donuts – the owner is an excellent cook!

The place is in the outskirt of Sendai, but it is very nice. I love the japanese bath style. The lady of the house is very friendly.

Maybe the location is a little bit far from the city.

Huge room! When the host opened the door we said wow. There is a projector which worked great. Beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom facilities were very clean. We also had a scone from the cafe and it was so delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing!

Excellent value for your money. The hostel itself is nicely furnished, very clean and my stay there was absolutely pleasant. The owners are super friendly and glad to help or answer any questions. The breakfast offered in the cafe was delicious and I enjoyed the overall vibe there as well. The waterfront with the tourist attractions is about 15 minutes by foot, the train station about 5-10 minutes (depending which one you arrive at).

As a German, my only complaint is that I had nothing to complain about ;)
