The air conditioner didn’t went to my capsule. So it was kind of hot.

I was a great place to stay in Atami for and affordable price worth the value.

Pool / guitar room is next to the only guests room, separate just by a door that doesn't close. People would play guitar at 6 am. Toilets and shower cabins are separated by gender (1 shower 2 toilets each) but all inside the same mixed room, which felt uncomfortable.

Without going into details, the check-in process was efficient but, in my opinion, unsafe. I believe that the current format creates the potential for safety risks and moral hazard, relying entirely on trust. Aside from this, the numbers on the beds are not abundantly clear at first glance, which makes it easy to accidentally take someone else's bed (in my opinion), and the walls between the capsules were not particularly thick; I am quite a heavy sleeper, yet I was woken up at 5AM by someone leaving next to me, and at 7AM due to people talking in the lobby. This is still OK value for what it is, but I did pay twice the price for accommodation in comparison to Odawara, while I felt my accommodation there was safer and cosier.

It has everything you need; an easy check-in, a clean bathroom and living environment, a decent bed capsule and quite a good location. I slept OK overall, and considering I travelled during a touristy weekend (national holiday due to Emperor's Birthday), I was very happy to find accommodation having booked at the last moment. It's pretty cool that there's a living area, decent furniture, a (mini) pool table and a guitar.

The common room is directly connected with the bedrooms without any doors. This made me heard of other guests chatting even at night, and made me be in difficulty sleeping :')

Many enough bathrooms/toilets are prepared, so it could make me avoid waiting. They served BOTANIST shampoo/treatment as amenities, which was great.

Please don't come for the sake of the billard table. It is not a real one, but just a small and worn down thing. The room it is in is also not comfortable. Overall common area is small.

I found the beds and "capsule" sectioning (like a hollow room in the wall) to be comfortable and rather spacious, giving good privacy. Location is perfect in central Atami near the beach.

Until the lights turn out at 10pm it can still be very light with the bed curtain closed.

An ideal spot for solo female travellers en route to Tokyo. Highly recommend Atami as a place to stay for two nights. The staff at this hostel were all very friendly. Everything is very clean and feels spacious because it's so tidy. It's not too far from the beach and the station. Bed is comfortable, there's places to sit and eat and there are female-only showers and toilets.

But a bit inconvenient when you want to hang something in the bathroom. And I found some red stuff on the sheet and the pillow, hope that wasn’t blood. Mattress was hard.

Check-in was interesting. The whole process is a bit cumbersome. Take a picture, do a password. However, all of it was bypassed by the code they gave you before you checked in? Not sure, how I feel. The showers work just fine, but hot water was not working sometimes. I ran the shower for 5 minutes and it was still cold which is fine. Cold showers are good (haha!).

The location overlooks the older part of Atami. You are maybe 3 blocks away from the main beach area of Atami. You're right next to the main shopping arcade where all the viral shopping things/eats are. The area is less crowded than the area around the JR station. My favourite part was when someone opened the lounge windows as this hostel is on the 3rd floor of a building well above the resort city skyline. The facilities were clean, and the hostel was quiet.

I did not see any staff; no service can be obtained from them because it is automatic from check-in to check-out. Only a piece of paper was stuck on the door. It was difficult to check in since it was our first time. We were stuck in front of the entrance for 15 minutes and no one could be asked for help. Only 2 bathrooms for so many people, we need to wait for a long time to shower before sleep. The owner said that towels would be provided but it was fair to mention that we needed to pay extra money before using.

The environment was clean and tidy. It is cheap.

We came by car, so it was a bit difficult to find the place. There are no elevators, so you have to use the stairs to the third floor.

Very close to Atami and Izu. Its good bang for your buck if you are looking for a place to sleep, freshen and up. Also the staff had clear instructions for each visitor on how to access and check-in.

The check-in procedure with face recognition on the tablet was cumbersome. It felt really janky and I didn't like that I had to sign up for an account. There's no QR code to quickly connect to the Wifi at the entrance, just the password, though there are QR codes everywhere inside to connect. So it's hard to connect at the entrance especially when there's other people crowded around trying to check in. There were only two showers for all the people there. Much too few! I'm glad I noticed it right when I checked in and took one in the afternoon.

It was clean and I was glad to have the free earplugs. It was a nice short walk to the station and to the waterfront. I'm glad there was a place to sit and eat with a decent view, and that there was a fridge to store some food.

Not great if you have a suitcase as there's no place to put it but a backpack is fine. Also only 4 toilets (2 for men, 2 for women) and one shower for the whole hostel although I never found this as an issue. Also no lockers assigned so you have to get there early to get a decent one if you want one. The lockers won't fit large bags such as backpacks or suitcases.

The staff are very nice and the location is decent. As its a 10 minute walk away from the sea front but a 15-20 minute walk from the station and getting back up there is a bit of an incline. The beds are very private in my opinion and they are quite comfy.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The first night was good, we had good sleep but the second night was awful. We had trouble sleeping because the guests who arrived that day were loud until after midnight.

The staff is very accommodating to our requests and speaks english. The property is also clean and well maintained.

The Air conditioning temperature was not good. It was very hot I was sweating in the morning while I was bed.

The restroom cleanliness and entertainment room. In the entertainment room, there was a cool pool board and gittern and ukulele.
