Cramped. The checking in procedure was difficult. Initially through the machine but the system could not take the credit card. Then had to effect it manually. The staff were not conversant in English. So many trainees and only the manager knew what was going on. The trainees really were not able to handle much.

a bit old but still functional. They clean the room every three days. but you can require cleaning only before 9am. The ac is controlled by auto system so it’s a bit hot and dry in the room.

The room size is fine for one person. Location near the subway, about 5mins. Many restaurants and super markets nearby open 24 hours.

Hotel is very old and for some reason full of male guests, lights are insufficient at night, parking is limited to small vehicles only

No corkscrew when I asked to open bottle of wine I paid almost 30000 yen for a basic room and couldn't supply a basic item ! Worse than that aircon at hotel wasn't working properly and as it was quite warm and as I needed to get up early wanted to get a good night's sleep The front staff did thankfully provide a fan that helped Understand hotels in big cities in Japan are way and often outrageously overpriced on weekends so definitely not getting value !

We really enjoyed our stay in Hakata. Next to the hotel there's a local market and the shopping center Canal City Hakata is only a short walk away. Check in and check out was hassle-free, the staff was friendly. The hotelroom was comfortable, clean and decent size. Definitely recommend staying here. I also recommend taking the local train to Ogori to visit Nyorinji Frog Temple, it's such a special shrine.

The hotel was good for our needs. We stayed one night before moving on. It was close to restaurants, ok size and had a comfortable bed. The only downside was that the pillows were a bit hard, and the fan in the bathroom ceiling could use some cleaning.

The breakfast was nice to have so many choices of the food. The location is nice, too, not far away from the subway, and you can find a supermarket, a medicine store, and a road with restaurants just around the corner, super convenient.

I was slightly disappointed by the housekeeping. It wasnt quite as thorough as I expected.

Have everything I need in my room except a steamer or iron. Conbinis and train stations are quite a walking distance but still near. A lot of very near bus stops tho. Few facilities like money changer and laundry in the hotel so thats nice. Check in and checkout is fast. Wifi is okay although it does slow down on rare times. They give you fresh towels everyday so thats a plus. The room is big too especially since im alone and im a small person.

just bring back the cleanliness I experienced during the pre-pandemic days. including the attention to details of your cleaners. while I understand the hotel policy of every-3-cleaning, I expected that the staff would be more thorough when they clean.

15 minutes walk to Hakata & Tenjin area, nearby have local supermarket and next to the hotel have a nice Ramen stall 雷藏 and their fry rice is very too. The room came with free coffee staffs is friendly.

We had two rooms, the standard room is smaller, with no wardrobes. They provide yukata, just make sure to open the drawers. You need to use the system provided for self check-in, so unless you frequent APA hotels, you will need to take quite some time to get familiar with it. So other guests will have to wait with patience.

Location was good, accessible to subway station, has a 24hrs supermarket next door.

Not a big problem, but check-in is made through a self-service machine not that easy to use for a foreigner, which may finally require assistance from the front desk staff.

Classical APA hotel well located in an area with many restaurants, yatai (street restaurants) and shops. Perfect base to explore the different areas of Fukuoka: walking distance from Canal City, Nakasu and Tenjin, bus and train connections to temples, the bay and the beaches, 10-min ride to the airport... Helpful and courteous staff, as always in Japan. Clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast buffet with Japanese and western options, self-service laundry machines... A good choice for short and less short stays.
