Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaLocation is away from the town. Stairs can be tough to carry bags and suitcases. Some breakfasts not so great and perhaps better to eat on the resort.
Daily shuttle and very helpful staff on the premises. Breakfast on certain days exceeded expectations.

SingaporeIt is near to Nagasaka ski area but far from hikage, if you miss the shuttle timings, it’s a 20mins walk back to hotel. Lack of amenities like toothbrush. And you hve to pay 300 yen if you want to change your towels.
Staff service is very good. Breakfast was simple and changes everyday but sufficient. Thankful for the shuttle to and from chuo terminal

AustraliaOne clothes washing machine and dryer only.
Accommodating in all ways Plenty of food for breakfast. Large drying room. Excellent shuttle to the gondola, town centre as well as pick up on arrival and drop off at the main bus stop on departure. Good spacious common areas. Very accessible on the free bus route to and from the gondola. Close to town from my perspective.

AustraliaHot breakfast was different everyday and freshly cooked from when you arrived from your room. The staff were eager to help us out with any queries and gave us local knowledge. Room's had a heater we could control and with windows, we could open. Rooms where exceptionally clean and spacious, with thick western style matrtesses.

PhilippinesRooms are a bit outdated and walls are too thin that when my little girl was talking (softly), the guests from the other room would bang the walls to say we're noisy (we're not).
First time to stay at Altitude Nozawa, it is a bit far from the slopes but very convenient as the free bus that goes around town stops in front of the property. I suggest you rent your skis near the slopes and look for one that can store it for you so you can leave it after a long day. Staff are so nice and accommodating.

AustraliaThe beds were extremely uncomfortable. So hard they were like sleeping on a plank of wood. Also during a 1 night stay our rooms were not serviced once. I had to ask for a dustpan and bush to clean the floor of the bathroom.
It was just far enough out of town to be quiet and within walking distance of the town

Fantastic location & very relaxed vibe. Can walk right to a chair lift & ski down to the main area of the mountain. The staff run free shuttles to the main mountain & also to the town of an evening.

AustraliaA bit of a trek back out to the restaurants if we came back to the hotel first from a day on the slopes, and the hotel doesn't have dinner service.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice big dining room downstairs to hang out with family and friends. We caught the hotel shuttle to Nagasaka Gondola parking lot, and if we missed it, the free one is next to the hotel.

United KingdomLocation means either take the free shuttle bus with stops almost outside the hotel or walk. The hotel is about a 20 minutes walk into town, so on colder nights you'll need to wrap up for the walk back as the free bus will have stopped running.
The location is just a short walk to the first chair lift (slight incline but it is a ski resort). Nice quiet place to stay just on the edge of the town. The hot breakfast every morning had variety and the staff are excellent and very helpful which made my stay even more enjoyable.

SImple but well organised and run hotel. Facilities were easy and helpful like the Snow gear storage area. We loved the shuttle to and from the lift area and town. It made the location actually enjoyable being out of the main village area.
