AustraliaTripple room was tight for three adults; but this is true for most of Japan.
Triple share room was cosy but tight for 3 adults. Shared onsen facilities were functional if not beautiful. Breakfast was pretty traditional without a lot of variety. Our stay was based around snowboarding in Yuzawa. Allumeur was a reasonable base for us to focus on the snow sports rather than the accommodation. Owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming.

JapanThe immediate neighborhood has no restaurant nor coffee shop opened during our stay; lunch or coffee break for non skiers can be difficult unless you take the ski lifts to the ski resort area with restaurants; and you need a car or take a taxi to go out for dinner.
The hotel is a 10 min taxi ride from Echigo Yuzawa and in walking distance to a ski gear rental shop, a ski pass counter and a ski lift. We booked breakfast and dinner. Food was good and plenty, family-style cooking. The owners and staff are very kind and helpful, all speaking English. There is a dry room for ski gears and a luggage storage room. All very convenient.

The location a little bit far, you must go there by taxi or shuttle from the hotel but i really like the ambiance its quiet, you can feel the country side, and when its snow theres a place in front of the hotel to play and there some scenerr. The owner lives there too they are very kind, the breakfast could be more improve but the dinner really delicious, thank you haru san and family for taking care of me and family.

We had an amazing stay at this ski accommodation! The family who runs the business was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, a perfect way to start and end our ski days. The location was great, just a short walk to the ski lift and ski rental shop, making everything super convenient. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and we truly appreciated the personal touch in everything they did. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

The family run business was a highlight,with an excellent attention to detail on all facets. The food was particularly excellent and plenty of it. It snowed heavily when we were departing and the owners son haraki was kind enough to drive 6 people and suitcases ...2 seperate trips...from ishiuchi to echigo yuzawa station. A very very kind gesture indeed. We were disappointed to leave such a great location.

Good location and friendly staff. Clean facilities and I enjoyed the traditional Japanese style room. I rented an e-bike at the Echigo-Yazawa station, so getting from the station to the hotel was easy. I had booked the option with breakfast and dinner, but was leaving the next morning at 5 am. The host made me a breakfast the night before and left it in a cooler for me to eat in the morning. I really appreciated this effort and the solid breakfast was highly appreciated as I spent most of the day hiking. Highly recommended!
