A dream hotel by the sea! From the start, we felt welcomed and at ease. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable—just what you want for a relaxing coastal escape. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready with a helpful tip or a warm smile. Breakfast was generous, and the on-site restaurant served tasty local dishes in a laid-back atmosphere. We really appreciated the hotel’s approach of involving local staff—it added a personal and authentic touch to the experience. It’s a new initiative, but already feels like a great success. Extras like free kayaks and easy car rental made exploring the island effortless. And best of all: just a one-minute walk to the beach!

Peaceful location, ideal for exploring the northern part of the island. A variety of activities are offered on-site, and convenient car parking is available. We tremendously enjoyed our relaxing stay and would happily return.

Nothing really. Location could be a problem for people who want to stay near the city, but great for us who wanted to be in nature.

We liked a lot about the friendly and very helpful staff. We also enjoy the beach that was basically our private beach with millions of hermit crabs. The room was spacious and very well maintained. The restaurant was also good!

The facility is great, there is a pool, an onsen and an outdoor shower to rince your stuff if you went to the beach / snorkeling etc. The staff is very helpful: they answer all questions promptly both by messages and on site. They offer to make the bed in our Japanese room, and being pregnant with a toddler to manage I was grateful for the opportunity. The restaurant is nice.

Incredible customer service - the staff cannot do enough for you. They booked Snorkeling, onsen, breakfast and restaurants for us. Gorgeous room, amazing beach just feet away, and great restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner underneath. Sunsets are incredible in the like- private beach. Onsen is lovely too.

The hotel did its utmost to make me book a car, unfortunately my translation of my driver's license was not enough. Because with a car there's a lot to do here. With no car it's still fine though, there is a bus twice a day. The room was very big and I had a fabulous view on the sea. The hotel has a small onsen, with a balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast is eaten in the café on site and the Japanese breakfast was tasty, as was everything else I had for dinner. Everyone was super friendly! The beach in front of the hotel is endless with no other people except the hotel guests.

The hotel is located 50 meters from a beautiful beach in a remote area, making the sunsets incredible. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a view on the green mountains and partly the ocean. It was also possible to book a timeslot for the private Onsen, which had a balcony with ocean view included. Especially the staff was kindhearted and supportive, making our stay exceptionally pleasant!

The room was a good size with a lovely view of the beach. We could see the sunset in the evenings from our balcony which was lovely. The staff were very friendly. The beach was conveniently located , clean and quiet. Breakfast was superb! We had the Japanese breakfast which included soup , rice , grilled fish , salad , pineapple , egg , tofu , yoghurt , coffee and juice. It was healthy, fresh and filling. We hired a car from the airport and there was free parking at the hotel and you can drive easily to the main sights on the island from here.

We loved our stay here and highly recommend. We had the traditional Japanese room, which was spacious, well equipped and clean. The location is great and right next to a private and beautiful beach. If you are looking for a relaxing time in Ishigaki yet not far from many sights, this is the place stay. Your stay will be more comfortable if you have a car or other means of transportation to get around the area. The staff deserves all the praise from other reviews, they are incredibly welcoming and helpful with everything and made our stay perfect.

Not property related, but there are limited food options around. Frequent trips to downtown probably require renting a car.

The location is great if you are looking for a quiet corner of paradise. Huge beach where we were always by ourselves (slightly offseason in late March). The breakfast which is included can be either typical japanese ou western. Both were delicious and generous. For other meals, the hotel restaurant is also great. You can order shabu-shabu for 2 if you reserve the day before. Delicious, but come with a full appetite. It’s a big meal! All the hotel and restaurant staff are really extremely kind, helpful and welcoming. A car is necessary here as in most areas on the island if you want to get around. Free parking is accessible at the hotel. Access to a small private onsen with a wonderful view of the sunset. We regreted not planing a longer stay.

Hotel is located at the west side of Ishigaki island, near the mountain and a beach. Friendly staff that helped to make our stay a pleasant one. Room was spacious and clean. I like the quietness and the fresh air around this area. Hotel is just behind a beach and I can imagine how much fun it is in the summer. The cafe also selling delicious food too.
