“We stayed in the two bedroom house. We were somewhat apprehensive when looking at the Google maps view, but were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The location is right on the waterfront, with a beautiful, well shaped 300 year old pine in the front. The living room opens onto the private yard from which you can either watch the sea or walk along a narrow causeway. It’s a short walk into the quiet township. We based ourselves here for 2 nights while exploring the the Izu peninsula.
We met the proprietors in their small adjacent coffee shop and after a thorough orientation helped us by booking a local restaurant for dinner that night.
The house itself was very new, and very spacious. It is comfortably appointed with a small kitchen, spacious Japanese style bathroom and bedrooms. Being able to spread out and enjoy the view was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Memorable stay.”
