Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JordanVery cold in the tent at night. The blankets were warm, but our faces felt very cold. There are fewer tourists likely due to the war in the region, so evening activities, sunset tours, and Jeep tours are not as fun as they used to be. This is not really the fault of the camp, but lower your expectations. The sunset tour's viewing spot is weird, as we could not really see a good sunset from the vantage point they drove us to.
Hot showers! I know that some other camps don't have them. The shared bathrooms were in good conditions. The scenery in Wadi Rum is stunning as usual. The food was nice, and I especially appreciate the special experience of having food that are heated under the sand. People working at this camp are nice and accommodating. The new campsite is a remote camp closer to the further edge of the Wadi Rum where the red sand and the yellow sand meet.

NetherlandsThe drain of the shower did not work properly. We showered at night and in the morning the water was still there. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, if it's windy the roof will will make a lot of flapping noises.
We stayed two nights, one at the camp and one in the cave. The location of the camp is amazing! The food was good. Especially the kofte lunch that was made on a campfire by Jalal was very tasty! The hike we did in the morning to the top of a mountain was great, we got an amazing view of the desert and even saw Saudi Arabia. The jeep tour was a lot of fun! It wasn't busy so we were the only 2 people on the tour. We had a nice seat at the roof of the jeep, which was great fun!

GermanySome more coat hooks would be great and maybe a little night stand. But overall I liked it.
I had the room with private bathroom and It was really good. Yeah a few beetles bugs etc but we were in the desert so I expected it. The bathroom was bigger than the one I had in Aqaba 😂. The Jeep Tour was really fun. I recommend it.

United StatesNo locks with a key for the individual tent rooms like ours. Also, the power was cut off in the morning and we couldn't charge our phones.. and lights were out so we couldn't shower in the dark bathroom. Only other complaint is that the jeep guide could have been better at handing our camera for pictures at the Big Rock Arch... since we had to leave one with him while we climbed up to the Arch. We did manage to catch a magical moment with a rainbow like reflection of the sun off of the scattered clouds! I would recommend this place for value!
The people were great... though we couldn't see all the sites with the limited time we had, Mosaab was able to take us to several of the sites we were hoping to see. The sunset, though we thought would be blocked by the scattered clouds, turned out to be magnificent!!! We got the double rooms with the pyruvate bath and large windows

Germanyplugs don’t really work and there is only one plug in each room. no Wi-Fi is available (but to be in the desert it’s great not to have it!). also, we couldn’t communicate with them before our arrival because it took them a bit long to answer but we could finally arrange everything

AustraliaThe price seems cheap (and it is). But you have to add in the transfers to/from the carpark to camp. Thats not included unless you book they're 4wd day tour. If you book that the transfers are included. It's a great tour though and we booked it and did. It was great.
This camp is located right in amoungst the cliffs. Its just stunning.
