United StatesThe listing was not accurate for the room we were initially given. However, the manager was fair in accommodating a compromise The property is under renovations, which is normal during this time before high season. We didn't see much for housekeeping service, but we also didn't request. The bar and restaurant were not yet open and were being refreshed and updated during our stay. Again, this is common during this time as they gear up for high season.
The location was excellent, the manager Vincent is very fair and accommodating while the property is going through many projects and hopefully improvements. He seems to be in a tough position of trying to make things work with limited resources. The room unfortunately needed some repairs and lacked cleanliness. We did not see housekeeping much, but did not request and simply cleaned up the areas as needed. The property has great potential, and there is progress being made, but it seems it is very slow I know sometimes it is hard to find skilled workers and that might be the case here.

JamaicaThe facilities could use some improvements, the description stated that one of the features were free Wi-Fi but we were unable to access a reliable connection for our son to use his tablet .. we in fact needed a code which we could not obtain (I was under the impression that it would be an auto connect) also, there were very few staff members to assist with any issues that needed attention…many thanks to the two staff members who were stationed at the main entrance (they did their best to assist with the limited resources they had).

PanamaWi-fi of the property had weak signal in some places but honestly it was the least of the problems when you have the Seven Mile Beach just round the corner. It seemed to us that they are working hard on improving the place.
First thing to mention is that the location and beach front were excellent. But what made our stay at Yellow Bird memorable was the friendliness of the staff. Big-ups to the chef who went above and beyond so we could have a glimpse of the Jamaican culinary experience. Sadly for us we would have liked to spend much more time there.
