How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff was rude as hell ! Maybe 1 or 3 of the ENTIRE resort was friendly EVERYONE ELSE HAD EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE… this resort is also MISQUOTE GALORE!! IVE USED CANN’SSSS of misquote repellent and it only last a few hours before there biteing with VENGEANCE!! Also this resort has NOO A/C its Hott as hell !! They keep the doors open for circulation but it’s a HOT AIR FLOW 24/7 I spent a week in hell and super happy to leave !! The workers are poorly trained, I came with over 1k to tip and didn’t !! Housekeeping was a 10/10 I do greatly appreciate them !!

Detailed communication was lacking. There always seemed to be some mix-up about something or other. The App was not working & information by the staff about certain booking arrangements was not forthcoming, which caused undue delay, inconvenience & disappointment. My room flooded. They moved us bit we spent 6 hours without a room. The new room had an electrical shortage, and the power kept going out. The restaurants are hard to get reservations for parties over 6. There is no air conditioning for all the eateries.

Traveled with sister for her birthday as well as two additional friends my sisters room was somehow canceled we went to hideaway because we were told the reservation was there once at the check in their guest rep told us no it was at blue waters when we get to blue waters they state the room was cancelled and to go back to hideaway mind you it’s my sister birthday and atp we were frustrated and tired so we ended up getting a room with butler services was told the room was ready and cleaned we get to the room the amenities are missing and the fridge is dirty and had not been stocked we couldn’t find the butlers half the time to even get something as simple as ice

Verified reviewThe resort was good but not a 5 star hotel. The bar staff in the lobby were very nice and friendly.
We did not think that this was a 5 star resort. The buffet was not as good as a less expensive resort that we had stayed in the week before. The housekeeping was not the best. The restaurants sometimes ran out of wine. Overall it was a disappointing experience, and was certainly not good value for money.
