JamaicaWe didn't like the fact that we had a leaking roof leading up to our last night. And communication wasn't effective due to the fact that we kept calling and being told we will be updated shortly, and after waiting 2 hours we found out that not only that we weren't updated, but change of rooms were ready but we weren't notified until long after. We didn't like that there was a difference interms of attitude when it comes on to tipping. In some cases body language and attitude changes after receiving a tip, and because of this we felt compelled to want to tip just to ensure we got the pleasant treatment from beginning to end especially for the occasion we were celebrating and that it was our first time experiencing this together. Also we paid to get ocean view and got a big tree instead. We didn't complain because we didn't spend much time in the rooms.
It was great. Enjoyed all the options we had to choose from and the attentiveness from our waiters. Really loved that the limitless options provided were prepared well and to our liking. We loved that our anniversary was well celebrated by staff members we came in contact with. Our complimentary room decor and wine were greatly appreciated.

JamaicaThere wasn’t enough restaurants to choose from. I wanted to make reservations to dine with my family and most restaurants weren’t available and kids are not allowed. Also, there could be more entertainment. The rooms had mosquitoes, There could be better lighting in the room where the mirrors are. Room service good wasn’t good
I like the fact that there were elevators end escalators that’s a plus for me. The room was clean.

JamaicaI didn’t like that the variety of food at the buffet was short. I couldn’t even get a shrimp Alfredo for lunch. I also wanted grapes and none was available throughout my whole stay. I finally found and they cut the grapes in half . For the cost I really taught there’ll be more variety of things available. Me bed pillows was smelly and my television had lines running through it

JamaicaI didnt like my check in I didn't offer anything to drink,no orientation was done. The pool bartender didn't server me it was Aaron the server from the truck me. The bartender seen like they were just looking to face r who they think was going to tip them. The late sports bar team didn't acknowledge me I have to go by the bar to ask someone to come take my order. The team there needs to needs to know the the location guest paid alot of money to stay there also.

JamaicaI had requested a birthday banner and set up that did not happen. Upon entering my room there was a dirty drink cup in my shower area. I placed a service sign on the door so my room would be checked and clean. I left the room and came back and it was not cleaned and the food was not cleared. For the time spent there a housekeeper never visited my room. Besides that everything was ok. The staff is really friendly.

JamaicaThe check in took 2 and a half hours, there weren’t even much people there. I got there to check in 1:30pm and never went off to my room until after 4pm. It seemed they overbooked my room so upgraded my room. The upgraded room was faulty - jacuzzi not working, missing door knob, I also didn’t get the regular room essentials like slippers, toothpaste, kits etc. I attempted to call customer service but the phone didn’t work. Other rooms of the same type were equipped with everything. I assume this is a last minute room that wasn’t prepared that I was thrown into but other wise the staff and everything outside of the room was amazing.

The only thing I can say about the diamond area is the early check in. Other than that it was very dirty customer service was average just like if you were in the regular rooms. The beach was dirty the beach chairs was dirty. Please don't label it diamond and it's not diamond.

United StatesThe waiting ,especially checking in. 1st. The person checking us in thought me & my fraternity brother whom we did fly 2gether but wasn't bunking 2gether. After finally getting registered, the wait begins. After waiting for the 1st ride to b taken 2 the lobby area, we had to wait for another ride 2 r buildings which took awhile.. yes I'm use to getting a key & going to room but yet we had to wait a while for r ride to r building near lobby area down near escalators. Also the amount money I spend on ur rooms should come equip with micro wave.. the last thing I got upset about is when I go to a steak restaurant, ur expected to have steak. Me & my fraternity brothers were there about 7:30pm Saturday & the waiter have the audacity to say we should have come early & I'm looking @ this person wanting to say ur a steak restaurant, all at Hunters steak. The place even ran out of spinach. I wanted to ask for a manager but I got up & left. Me I really wanted to ask to speak to a manager period at the Royalton hotel but usually when my complaints r pretty well deserved I usually would get a discount on my bill but in Jamaica I do not know how u satisfy a customer with complaints as mine so I left it go.

United StatesThere were issue with beach showers not working, but for the most part it was good. The pool looked gross by the end of each day so we avoided it and only stayed at the beach. Also don’t like the buoys that marked off the swimming areas as they did not allow for adult swimming- water up to my waist is not good swimming. The aggressive boat vendors were also not a favourite. The food at the restaurants and the selections were so-so.
It was mostly clean and well kept. The beach was delightful. The swim up room was an amazing must-have. Great shower pressure! Nice beds. Loungers aplenty.
