How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The light would take a while to turn on, and sometimes it would keep flashing for a bit. Additionally, at one point, the water from the bathroom sink was coming out yellow, but then it stopped after about a minute. The staff also didn't speak much English, but they were helpful. The taxi situation was a bit tricky for us. It is best if you book it directly from the hotel (ask reception), and to go back to the hotel, there should be a designated Taxi waiting area, and just wait there. Taxis are also calculated by the distance, and prefer if you pay cash
The hotel room was nice and clean, and there were outlets next to the beds to charge your phone. There was plenty of space to put our stuff, including bags and shoes. Also, the beds were clean and super comfortable. There's a supermarket next to it, which was very convenient, and in addition, from the hotel to Gran Reno (shopping mall)/ Unipol Arena is a 30-minute walk

It’s an older building, the water pressure is a bit inconsistent but nothing too bad
Very spacious room, good location with free parking, perfect if you’re attending a concert at the Unipol Arena, it’s less than a 20min walk Breakfast was nice and the staff were very friendly

Absolutely nothing !
A very good hotel, very classic stylish, almost British. I liked the room and the public spaces. Nice old pictures. stylish retro furniture, also in the room, but in fantastic fashion. I realize it is a personal view, but I liked it a lot. Very fine breakfast, constantly supplemented. Bar available. Restaurant available. Both good. Hotel next to the train stop (I mean next is one minute !)

Maybe the nearby train station a little bit noisy in the evening but nothing crazy.

The room was hot and the air-conditioning not working properly. Only one pillow per person and hotel couldn't provide more pillows thus we couldn't get any sleep. The flushing didn't work properly.
Just spent one night. Good breakfast and even the restaurant food very good. Staff very helpful and polite. Clean. Good location not far from the Pilastrina station to go to Bologna main train station.

In the bathroom you could see that it's not the newest anymore and shower was hard to adjust cold/hot water.
The hotel is just next to food store and has pretty big parking. With the car parked and a train and bus station just behind the hotel, it was a perfect starting point to get to Bologna. It's also great to get to Arena, it's just one train stop, and also very quick by foot. Staff was friendly and breakfast had a lot to pick from. We could order coffe from the bar.

I expected a free water bottle in the room, common in a 4 stars hotel.
Close to the highway. The staff is excellent. They let you feel at home, always smiling and trying to accommodate you at their best. Dinner was ok, at a reasonable price. I enjoyed the wine, Lambrusco secco (dry). It's highly recommended. The room was huge and warm. I will save this hotel on my favourite list for future stays. Thanks!

Just a suggestion - the minibar should be stocked up with more drinks and snacks-only water was available
Very big and comfortable rooms and also large bathrooms. Very conveniently located next to Unipol Arena if you’re going for an event

Shower temperature tap in room 401 could be adjusted, but temperature of water did not change (Very hot) On Friday morning there were no mini baguettes available. Only toast and sweet croissants
