The host is fantastic. He is available over WhatsApp to answer any questions. He sent us a video showing how to enter the building, walk to the apartment (there were 3 on one floor) and access the key from the lock box, then he opened the door to show us entry into the apartment. This was super helpful. The apartment itself was modern and very clean and cool in temp (we were there in August so that was important to us). We had access to a washer/dryer and all the amenities you would need in an apartment. He also set taxi transfers up for pick-up from the airport and back and the taxi company he used was prompt, the car clean.

The only minor downside is that storage space is somewhat limited due to the open wardrobe design—but that’s just a small note in an otherwise perfect stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautifully renovated apartment with our family. The location is perfect for exploring Palermo—central, lively, yet peaceful thanks to excellent window insulation. While it's on a busy street, we slept very well; light sleepers may appreciate earplugs, though we didn’t find it necessary. The apartment itself is stunning: high ceilings, original floors, and stylish, modern furniture. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable, and having an elevator in the building was a definite plus. We were especially touched by the generous welcome gift—such a lovely gesture! Communication with the host was effortless. He was incredibly polite, helpful, and quick to respond. He even offered professional cleaning services, fresh towels, and airport transport (all for very reasonable fees), which made everything feel seamless and luxurious. There’s a coffee machine, which we really enjoyed using in the mornings in addition to the 2 balconies. Honestly, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when returning to Palermo. This apartment was simply too good to take the risk.

Our stay at the Zahir Apartment was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in the heart of Palermo, this charming space offered the perfect blend of modern comfort and Sicilian character. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed the host was warm, responsive, and full of helpful recommendations that made our trip even more special. The apartment itself is beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches throughout. The decor is stylish yet cozy, with natural light flooding the space during the day and soft ambient lighting at night that made it feel like a true retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the space was spotlessly clean. One of our favorite parts was the small balcony perfect for enjoying morning coffee. The location is unbeatable: just steps from vibrant markets, historic landmarks, incredible restaurants, and charming cafes. Despite being so central, the apartment was peaceful and quiet an ideal place to unwind after exploring the city.

Nothing it was perfect

Gorgeous spacious apartment five minute walk to shops and restaurants. We really loved our stay here and is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in Europe. Giuseppe was helpful with providing recommendations for restaurants and landmarks to visit. I would definitely stay at Zahir Suites again.

The property is very well located in walking distance from main attractions in Palermo. It’s spotless and clean, perfect for family. There’s also a small kitchen if you want to do some light cooking for breakfast. For parking, we parked our car in a nearby car park for €13 a day, and walked to most places and restaurants in Palermo. If you like period properties, there are also a few original features in the suite - eg the original floor tiles and ceiling mouldings. The host, Giuseppe, is also very friendly and sent us a document with restaurant recommendations which were all great choices - especially Osteria Mercede that is 2 minutes walk away from the suite.

These were wonderful apartments located just 500 meters from the city center and the historic Teatro Massimo. The rooms are beautifully designed in a stylish interior with charming antique floor tiles, luxurious high ceilings, and two lovely balconies. We were absolutely delighted!

He welcomed us with the most delicious cannolis, responded quickly to any questions, provided clear instructions about the apartment, and gave us fantastic local recommendations, especially for places to eat. We loved the layout, decor, spacious rooms, and proximity to the old town by foot. The host greeted us and explained everything about the apartment and was always available for any questions or suggestions. We had an amazing stay at Zahir! The place was newly furnished, modern, spotlessly clean, tidy, and . The location was perfect—right in the heart of Palermo, close to all the main sights, restaurants, and shops. The service was truly excellent. We had a small issue with the hairdryer not working, and it was replaced immediately without any hassle. The host was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Also gave a list of where to go for food which was really helpful as there is so many restaurants witch is hard to choose from. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Palermo!

Wished the laundry access was included with the stay since it was steps from the apartment. Driving a rental car is not recommended in downtown Palermo for non-residents.
