There was only two things, the 70 odd steps we had to walk up with our suitcases which we knew about but with the heat etc it made it difficult The second thing was we had a small number of ants in the room on the evening of the first night and again the second night they may have come in from the patio door in the room. Otherwise everything was very clean and they provided towels and toilet roll when needed.

Location was perfect, walking distance to everything we needed, shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. It was basic but all we needed for our short trip was a bathroom, bed and fridge so it was perfect.

No elevator and no late check in. Huge extra charge for check in at 7.00 pm and you have to pick up the keys from another location than the apartment. You have to carry your luggage around Florence to get your keys and then climb the stairs to find the apartment.

The room was located on top floor but there was no elevator. It was hard to climb with heavy lagguages

The room was very clean and designed modern. The location of the place was one of the best, it is near to everywhere that you would like to see in Florance

The air conditioning in one room wasn’t great but the other room had brilliant air conditioning so was probably just the machine that weekend ! The check in building is not the same as the one you book so it’s important to note that before you arrive !

The check in location was not the location of the property. This was not clear in the advertisement.

There was no breakfast or other meals included in this property. The location was great, and the room was cute and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here!

The quality of the window, you can hear everything from outside even if the window it’s closed. Also, would have been nice to have at least soap in the bathroom.

The reception to get the keys is only open until 18:00, if you check-in later than this you will get a fee of 30€. We did not plan to arrive so early in Florence so we had to cancel some plans during the day to avoid the fee. They could consider some contactless check-in procedure to avoid this limitation.

The location is in the middle of Florence historical center and you have everything within close reach. The rooms have a nice Scandinavian interior design with high roofs and large windows.

We had booked a late check in and were happy to pay the extra €30 for this - unfortunately our connecting flight was delayed so we would not be arriving until 11.30pm - we were then told that it was too late for us to collect the keys. We had nowhere to stay as we left Frankfurt for Florence. We offered to pay more - asked if they could leave the keys somewhere for us to collect and were told No! When collecting our keys the following day we asked if there would be a refund - again the answer was no. Leaving the UK we were looking forward to our break in Florence but it was a total nightmare which coloured our view of the beautiful city. Dreadful customer service leaving us homeless. Although there is a lift as ‘visitors’ we are not allowed to use it. The Residence is on the 3rd floor which equates to 9 flights of stairs. The images of the property show a roof top terrace but again this is not available for us to use- the property was misrepresented to us. Yes the room is lovely but no coffee/ tea facilities which are definitely needed having climbed up those stairs. No hooks to hang up damp towels. I have never felt so unwanted when staying anywhere and strongly suggest this property is removed from Booking.com - not the experience we are used to.
