It feels like paradise away from all the hustle of Syracuse. The place is very calm and nicely done. We used the spa facilities and they are heavenly !

We especially liked the fact that this is a 5-star hotel with facilities for families with children. The kids loved the mini-club and the pool with the slide. There was lots of room for them to run riot outside without disturbing other guests.

Such a shame this hotel is so isolated if you haven't got a car. Although the hotel does arrange free shuttles to a beautiful beach club and into Ortigia

The main outdoor pool is beautiful, set in lovely gardens with plenty of loungers. Having a separate pool for children is also great. The indoor spa pool is also very big and a lovely peaceful atmosphere. The staff are an absolute delight - truly first rate service, all exceptionally friendly and with a personal touch. Rooms big and spacious with comfortable beds. Location is great for visiting the surrounding area. Whilst it’s not possible to walk to Syracuse / Ortigia or local beaches the hotel provides a regular free shuttle bus service, and if you have a car everything is very very short drive away. The countryside setting is very peaceful.

Perhaps a little remote. Both good being nice and quiet but also not near other restaurants.

We stayed here for 5 nights in June and overall thought it to be an excellent hotel. The hotel is situated in the countryside about 20 mins from Syracuse. It’s in a very quiet location. Which suited us. We had a Crocus suite room which overlooked the garden and pool and had lovely views over the countryside. It had a large comfortable bed and all in excellent condition. The Spa is in the basement area and very nicely specified with perhaps the largest hotel indoor heated pool I’ve seen. There was a well equipped gym etc. The Spa area was very impressive. Indeed all of the hotel was exceedingly nice. All the staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and greatly contributed to our enjoyable stay. A special mention to Maurizio and Santino who were brilliant. The large pool was great. Along one edge was a gentle slope into the warm water. Not too deep as well. There is also another small pool with slide etc for children. Overall excellent. We ate at the hotel every night and the food was really good. They were even able to produce some excellent grilled Swordfish even though it wasn’t on the menu. If you stay there I’m sure with advance notice they can provide what you want. A sign of an excellent hotel. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. It is ideally situated to visit Otigia, Noto and the surrounding areas. Possibly downside is that it’s a little way from other restaurants and it’s not on the coast. Highly recommended perhaps go in a non peak time and enjoy the Spa etc.

Massage experience wasn’t good: at the spa reception they missed to ask me to fill in medical form before the massage; the massage was not good (and even strange - around belly button ?!); when I finished Boone at reception was there to ask for feedback or offer tea, etc

It’s only convenient for travelers arriving by car.

It's appreciated that they upgraded our room, which was spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast is truly excellent, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, as well as freshly made vegetable and fruit juices. They also offer a shuttle bus to the city center, though I didn’t have a chance to use it. A highly enjoyable stay!

Even though the location is a distance from Ortigia and beach the Spa provides a free shuttle to both places. The spa itself is impressive As we arrived outside the season we have got a free upgrade Good breakfasts, when asked for a soft boiled egg (outside regular menu) there has been no problem whatsoever and the egg has been served quickly in excellent “soft condition”

Just wish we could have stayed longer!

I wish I could give the hotel a higher score than 10! Everything was exceptional and we had a wonderful stay. The photos do not do justice to how great the location, pool and rooms are. Staff were friendly and attentive, making you feel very much at home. We had a suite with jacuzzi which was a lovely addition. Breakfast had so much choice and everything was fresh and looked wonderful. We left feeling happy and relaxed.

We had a good room but my elderly mum was with me and she found the bathroom a bit uncomfortable for her since it was a bath with a shower head. Other than that, everything was perfect

Fantastic large pool, spacious and modern. The suite was fantastic for a family of four, with small private patio and easy access to pool. The spa was beautiful - particularly the indoor pool for the hottest party of the day. Brilliant to have the option of a minibus to Ortygia as there's limited parking - and it's a lovely old city which is fabulous for dinner. Friendly helpful staff gave us excellent recommendations - La Putia for dinner was exceptional. Comforts - bedding, towels etc - all highest quality
