This is our second time staying at this hotel in Volterra, it’s in a perfect location to walk throughout the old town, to restaurants and a public car park is only a 5 min walk. The breakfast was lovely. The rooms are cleaned daily and done immaculately. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Honestly, this isn't even a big deal but the bar downstairs could be a bit more spread out. It felt a bit awkward to grab a drink downstairs. That being said, it did not detract from our stay at all! They were incredibly welcoming and lovely staff/owners!

The staff was amazing! The woman who checked us in gave us great instructions to get there, and then great directions to park our car! The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect! We walked out the front door and two mins later, we were in the main piazza. It's located really close to a farmacia, restaurants, churches, etc. The layout of the floors were goofy but I think it's because they connected with another building to expand. The elevator was ideal since we had some heavier luggage (travelling with a baby requires more stuff than you'd think!). It was a perfect sized room for my husband and baby, we had plenty of room. The room even had a little patio that we sat out on and had a glass of wine. They graciously provided a baby cot for my son to sleep in so we were able to get some good sleep since he was safe in his bed!

The bed was a bit sunken, but I still slept well because the room was very dark and quiet.

Hotel Volterra was very nice, it is situated perfectly with easy access to all parts of town. Parking was a short distance away and the staff was very helpful with recommendations.

We would have liked a bit more natural light in our room. We upgraded for the bigger room but perhaps would have been better to stay in our original room which would have been on a higher floor?

The hotel was in an excellent location, near the car park and all the main sights. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable and king size! There was a nice selection for breakfast and the staff were very attentive.

Out of the window I had a wall less then two meters away, in the alley. But I realize that in an historical area, it cannot be otherwise.

The bed was very nice. I had a relexing night. Breakfast with many pies. And the bathroom was really nice, with a big shower.

There is no parking at the property which was painful. I had to walk with the luggage from the lcoal parking garage which was troublesome. This is good to know if you are driving and have larger luggage!

Shower doors won't close properly due to broken handles. Also flooring is lifting near bathroom door.

Nice welcome from courteous staff. Lovely room, amazing views, comfortable bed, good linen. . Everything else was lovely and the breakfast was the best we had in 2 weeks in italy with great choice and super homemade cakes.
