If you can't climb 1 level of staircase, you better look for another one. It is fine for us. The staff help us to carry the largest baggage.

The room was abowe a restaurant. Maybe the slab was made of paper so you could feel you lie in the middle the restaurant. You can hear the guests talking and the music. Noise is not problem if you so tired that you can fall asleep immediately but any other cases you will wait till the restaurant closes...

Hot water in the bathroom was problematic. And entrance to the apartment involves four separate locked doors although keys were provided to all of these.

The location is excellent: a stones throw from the river and the very heart of the old city of Verona. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment is very large and comfortable and with a clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast was via vouchers in a little cafe across the street form the apartment where there was nice atmosphere, friendly service and coffee with a choice of a couple of of small pastries or croissants - not a hearty breakfast but served in a real Italian atmosphere with the locals.

Lovely furnishings and lots of space and storage. Nice comforts such as coffee machine, complimentary wine, napkins, wine glasses crockery etc. Lovely art and decor and some wonderful unusual and beautiful room features. Location was perfect, easy to walk to all major cultural sights. Abundance of restaurants nearby too. Raffael the host is the kindest and most helpful.

The layout means that people staying in the larger room have to walk through the other bedroom (small lounge with sofa bed) to get to the bathroom. However, this wasn't a big problem for us.

Communication with the host Raffaele was excellent, he couldn't have been more helpful & was great at explaining everything. The accommodation was spacious and very clean. The air-conditioning worked well. The complimentary bottles of water and the Rose wine was lovely. Breakfast was good at the café downstairs. The location was excellent, we had tickets for the opera which was a 10min walk away. I would definitely recommend for a weekend in Verona.

The position is very central, so if you are a light sleeper the noise of the cars from the street during the night might bother you. But keep in mind that the location is perfect!!!

We were greeted by the wonderful host who gave us all the information needed. There were bottles of water for each of us (family of 5) and the bottle of wine. Accommodation is very clean, the beds are super comfortable and the location is very central with the shops and restaurants nearby. There is no parking, but there is a public garage just 100 m from the building. I would highly recommend the Diaz 18 and I plan to stay there again when in Verona.
