How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Excellent location for exploring Florence. Access and parking for car outside the ZTL was a massive bonus.

Shower. Too tight.
Excellent location. Tram is hardly 2 minutes walk. Free and safe car parking. Bed was comfortable. Ensuite bathroom But the washroom was very small. Standing Shower is very tight. I am 5 feet 9 inches male with normal body & still I found it uncomfortable to use the shower. Overall, no complaints with place. Shower is also manageable but it would have been 10/10 stay if shower was little bigger. Host was very responsive and helpful. Sometimes it feels like host is rude, but she’s not. I think she seems rude because of language barrier. Check-in and checkout was also very convenient . Room was very clean and good size bed . Great value for the money Highly recommended .

The toilet is a bit too tiny
I liked the location and the huge bed, it was also very nice to have a free parking The receptionist was really nice and kind I liked that it was right next to tram and bus stations to get an easy and fast excess to the center

Little gem which is only a short walk away from the centre of Florence, we did our entire journey on foot and visited everything the city had to offer! Room was spotless, we had our own parking space in front of the room and the facilities were perfect! Host was very friendly to us and made sure we had everything we needed, even being polite when we were unable to open the gate after clear instructions 🤣

Would have preferred a breakfast for this price rather than paying extra for a very basic breakfast offering.
Very quiet neighborhood and comfortable to unwind after walking alot in Firenze. Team made it easy to access too.

The shower was too small and there was no lift. No fresh fruit at breakfast.
Lovely old villa just outside the old town. Nice decor mix of old and new.

I wish the room was a bit more spacious, but for a short-term stay it was pretty enough.
The hotel itself, the design and the it's spirit makes you feel like at home! The host Odette is super nice and welcoming! Really liked the parking in the inner yard, so that you can leave the car in a safe place and explore the city by foot.

Bathroom was not so comfortable. The cabin was super small and every turn or move had the risk of changing the water or hitting something. The shower was in poor maintenance as well, so better take a look at it 🙂

Room bathroom was a bit cramped, but clean and nicely furnished.

The hotel was in a quiet area which was nice but rather far from cafes and restaurants. The host on the first day was more transactional than welcoming. However, she was quite kind to my wife the following day.

Everything was wonderful with the accommodations and host. Clean, friendly, great bed. Just plan on taking train, bus or can to restaurants/ downtown district it's quite far to walk..there's not much close for restaurants

Beautiful villa, very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle which was only 15-20 minutes walk away, have free parking, manager was very helpful and accommodating. The only shortcoming is that shower was a tad small, both of us kept bumping at the knobs.

I came to the end of my stay.
Beatiful accommodation; comfortable, very clean and peaceful. Relaxing vibe. Of espsecial note is the delightful and charming Odette who provided breakfast and helpful advice on where to go and what to see in the wonderful city that is Firenze!
