There is no parking for all the guests, but this is a minor issue since we didn’t have any problem parking in a 200 meter radius around the hotel.

Everything The villa itself is a marvelous historic building. You can enjoy an incredibly well prepared and with huge variety of delicious products breakfast in a beautiful room. The staff is very professional and warm at the same time. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and very well decorated This is one of the best hotels we have stayed , and we have stayed in many around the world. Excellent!

There was a small misunderstanding during check-in due to the air conditioner not working with the young man at the reception, but everything was quickly resolved.

A wonderful renovated villa, with excellent repairs and design. Everything is very beautiful and comfortable. Excellent room, very comfortable beds and an absolutely gorgeous view from the window! And the breakfast is the best we have had in hotels during all our travels in Italy and beyond. The villa is very well located - in a quiet, peaceful place, and the center is literally 5-7 minutes at a leisurely pace. I planned a stay at this hotel for my birthday - and everything was great!

The hotel is very generous with its customers, offering free drinks and home made Tuscan snacks in the afternoon and evening. The breakfast, like the complementary drinks in the minibar, is free, included. Bottles of water, free. Fresh made Italian cookies under bell jars at bedtime, free.

Parking can be difficult, but where there’s a will there’s a way. And when there was absolutely no space when evening, they provided the private location.

The little extras that they provided. Most places just do the basics, but they go overboard to make your visit very comfortable and welcoming. The food was delicious; the breakfast is awesome.

We liked everything.

Villa Marsili is a small, cozy boutique hotel where we felt cared for and truly welcome. We had a beautiful, antique-style room equipped with all modern comforts. The breakfasts were exceptional gourmet experiences – everything served was fresh and delicious, and we especially enjoyed the chef’s handmade savory delicacies made from local ingredients. Each evening from 7 to 8 PM, signature cocktails and snacks were offered – greetings to the lovely young man who mixed our drinks! We were able to park our car for free on the street next to the hotel, and a hotel staff member arranged the spot for us. Normally, parking can be difficult during the tourist season, but I believe we would have found a spot a bit further away if necessary, as there are several parking lots around the town and there were spaces available in the evenings. We will miss this hotel and the time we spent in Cortona. We’ve been to Cortona twice before, but this experience and hotel choice surpassed all previous visits. We’ll definitely come back to the same place in the future. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Wouldn’t change anything

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the center and in a quiet location. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The room was spotless and the complementary snacks and drinks were a nice touch.

We just loved this hotel. It felt like old world Italy in both the decor and the family way in which it was run. There were appetizers out before dinner and cookies out after dinner, with after dinner drinks and bar service available. The staff was so happy to help with anything, and always smiling. The breakfast was delicious. And it was a 5 minute walk from town. We had such a lovely stay! Thank you!

I imagined the outdoor space to be a little bigger, more secluded and not so close to the road.

The best staff of any hotel I've stayed in! So friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. My room comfortable. The location was close to town but quiet and without a need to climb much up the hills. Also close to the stop for the bus from the station. I had a small single but everything was good quality.
