What a beautiful hotel! The gardens and pool area are fantastic and there are so many spots to sit and relax throughout the day and evening. The hotel kindly upgraded our room and the room we received was so spacious! The spa was also lovely as well as the restaurant on site. The neighbouring winery is worth a visit too.

The facilities and grounds are immaculate. We spent a couple days by the pool and could have easily spent another week there. The breakfast was also amazing. Thanks to the receptionist/manager Marina for her recommendations on where to visit in the area, she is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and we had the best time in Chianti. Thank you Campomaggio for an unforgettable experience.

I did not like the fact that there is no one to help with luggage's, especially that we have to park outside and need to drag all luggage through pebbles upward road.

Unpleasant and dim lights in the apartment. Cleaning - the floor and carpet were very dirty with dust and someone’s nails. We had to ask the reception twice until it was finally cleaned. Despite that, we would very recommend to stay at this place.

This was the perfect stay for us as a couple who needed some quiet and romance. The resort has a beautiful pool and a pampering spa. The apartment was spacious and the atmosphere was magical. We could spend entire days just relaxing in the hotel while listening to the birds sing.

We had the most perfect stay and would love to come back here again. From the moment we got to the villa the staff were extremely friendly and made sure that we were well looked after! We stayed in the most incredible room, that felt very private and the amenties were 10/10. We had a lovely balcony view overlooking the scenic hills and we also got engaged here! The staff helped arrange the whole thing and we had the best dinner after! This place will always be special to us and we will always remember the lovely staff that made it so amazing!

The hotel is located in a beautiful part of Tuscany, surrounded by scenic countryside and vineyards. It offers a range of excellent facilities, including a well-maintained pool, comfortable lounge areas, and spacious, clean rooms. Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding—meals were made with fresh, local ingredients and thoughtfully prepared. The staff provided consistently attentive and professional service throughout the stay. The location is also convenient for exploring the region, with easy access by car to Florence, Siena, and other nearby towns.

The villa is like a dream with its amazing garden and swimming pool plus the spa! The staff is super friendly, the restaurants are great, there is a winery at 200m with winetasting so you have everything at one place. We also did cycle around, it is great, beautiful and exciting but very hilly. Be prepared to climb a lot by bike.

Everything was perfect!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. There was an error in the system, and the reservation from booking was not coming out correctly. The staff immediately reacted in the best way. They seated us for dinner while they checked the system so that we would not experience any inconvenience during check-in. They resolved the problem, and after dinner, they checked in us. They were very kind and polite. During the whole stay the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were beautifully designed, and offered all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and relaxing, and the attention to detail—from the decor to the cleanliness—was impressive. The view was breathtaking from the room and from facilities. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Villa Campomaggio is like something out of an Italian Fairytale, its location is so peaceful and tranquil that you actually leave feeling like a person. The gardens are immaculate, the layout and the different areas to sit and relax are so thoughtfully laid out, we ended up with different spots to sit throughout the day. We love that the hotel has prioritised experience and peace over maximising rooms, I think there’s 23 in total - it really is a beautiful place, surrounded by vineyards and nature. There is an amazing vineyard right next door which is perfect for tastings, and you can walk back. Hiring a car is a must I would say. The food here is beautiful as you can expect and the staff, all of them, are wonderful!! We will be back and will be telling friends about this beautiful place.

We rented the apartment with 3 large bedrooms. The entire apartment is large and spacious, but not very well-equipped with outdated furniture. There is also a kitchenette, but it is not very functional - too small to accommodate 6 residents. The apartment lacks lighting and it is a bit dark inside in the evening. There is heating and the apartment is cozy, but the blankets were not cozy and comfortable.

The place is amazingly beautiful, well-kept and tidy. Its location is excellent, halfway between Florence and Siena and close to San Gimignano.
