I checked out a day early as I thought the restaurant for lunch and dinner wasn't up to my standards that I was expecting. I had been traveling in Portugal and Spain and Italy for the past two months and on my last night there, I had the worst dinner of my entire journey. Didn't feel I wanted to stay the additional night I had already paid for.

One of the spa didn’t work and from reading reviews it hasn’t been for months. The clientele were very rude to the staff who were so friendly and helpful.

You get a very warm welcoming and easy check in. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pools are nice. Breakfast was amazing.

My bathroom had a broken shade and prevented me from opening the window... the ac wasn't working, so this wasn't ideal.

It was a little difficult to find at first - definitely take the main road, not the small country lane to the property! It is not a shortcut and our Jeep almost got stuck going up the hill! Steam room was not working properly which was a shame. Otherwise it was great!

Stunning property and beautiful grounds, spa access for guests with a lovely outdoor heated pool & sauna, staff very friendly, breakfast was delicious (loved being able to get some healthy things! Nuts, seeds, yoghurt, fruit etc…. Chefs kiss).

I think it lacks warmth and you get the feeling that tourism is simply not working for anyone in many parts of Italy and that by going there, you are part of the problem... the staff seem jaded and going through the motions and the guests are busy taking selfies. it's overall tragic but so not unique to this hotel so don't let this put you off as it's a decent place

We had no air conditioning throughout our stay and we were told that the whole property had an issue with it that couldn't be resolved and even after mentioning several times nothing was done about it. It was very hot in our room and we were unable to open our windows because of the mosquitos! It was also a very dark room, with lights that didn't work, bathroom fittings hanging off and generally it needed some attention! We were also told on arrival that we were eligible for a free meal one night and a spa session but when we were given our final bill told that this was an error!

Lovely setting and the staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was always good and the steam shower in our room was truly amazing.

The staff was great, especially Guillermo, who assured us there we no ghosts. We loved the grounds, the proximity to Cortona, which you could easily reach by car in 6 minutes. We loved the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The spa was wonderful. The warm pool outside with the wind in the trees was splendid. It was very relaxing and I want to go back.

Please have towels in the spa and not make us bring our towels from our room. The huge iMac computers at the front desk area barrier to welcoming and personal interaction with the reception staff (whom I like very much). Checkout is very manual and time consuming. Patrons standing around to check out. No toilet paper holder in bathroom and no shelving in shower. All in all, great stay. Just my 2 cents.

Breakfast was continental, overall good. Only one extra I wasn't expecting, hot items from the kitchen were at an additional cost, eg, an omellete.

Absolutely beautiful setting, staff were incredible, such a relaxing stay. Spa facilities were nice, sauna great temperature and pool was ideal for relaxing in afterwards. The room was perfect, hydrobath an nice added extra. The hotel has its own Jaguar which you can request, loved this as taxi's are a little tricky to get hold of sometimes.

Some details were very appreciated and nice; some others weren't that well looked after. There were visual contrasts between very beautiful and well-finished things and others that were much less so.

Silent, nature, walking through nature, hot-pool very nice. Very appreciated also the breakfast.

Pool and spa were nice, included in the room price. Breakfast was good but could have been better, egg dishes were an extra charge. Room and bathroom were quite nice.

The staff was great. Spa was fantastic and much needed. Loved the Turkish Bath. Massage was awesome. The room was adequate and clean. Would stay at this property again, the spa alone made it an amazing value. Breakfast was delicious and a good spread.
