I liked absolutely everything about this property, from its location to its amenities. The house is filled with the history. There is a private lake beach just across the road where you can enjoy a moment of solitude as you meet the dawn.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the owner of this villa, Danilo. The care and attention to the guests were simply wonderful. It was truly a beautiful place to stay. We were looking for a house with history by the lake, and this one exceeded our expectations. The house is remarkably well-preserved, and its rich historical character left a deep impression on us. We especially appreciated the document sharing the history of the villa and recommendations for things to do in the area—it was a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. The garden was simply beautiful and very picturesque, a perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. Reaching the villa without a car was surprisingly easy. You can easily get here by ferry, which made our arrival very smooth and convenient. We will definitely be back—it’s a place we look forward to returning to!

This is a beautiful turn of the century villa in a great lakeside location meticulously maintained, tastefully furnished with antiques and with lovely gardens. The villa is a 5 minute walk to Onno, a pretty little village that is relatively peaceful with a handful of restaurants, yet only 20 minutes from the tourist hotspot of Bellagio. Danilo, the host, is very attentive and the breakfast spread just right. Ideal place to explore Lake Como from.

I would start first with Danilo, who is a very nice host and he is always trying to help and make you feel very welcomed. About the property...what can I say, the garden and the views are absolutely gorgeous, the breakfast very good as well....location was perfect for us, being a not crowded area but with access to bus and ferry in case you don't want to use the car. Thank you Danilo for the wonderful time we've had there and hope to meet you again someday!

Nice historic villa with immensly beautiful garden and views to Como Lake. Breakfast with great variety of food, fresh fruit and Italian coffee in the garden. Lake view from the bed. Danilo and his wife are superbe hosts and have very good recommendations for discoveries in the area. Free and protected car parking.

We had a wonderful stay here in villa ucci. The host Danilo is very kind, offers a great breakfast with multiple choices and if you ask him he will help you with everything. The room was lovely with a balcony facing the lake. There‘s also a private entry to the lake, a beautiful big garden and a public beach 20m away.

The property is a large, beautiful house built in the 1900s and has been designed to allow for guest rooms with their own bathroom. The views are simply stunning. The host is a very lovely human being and wants the best for all his guests.

Danilo has been the best host we have had in all our travels. Villa Ucci was a great location to explore lake Como from with restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. The accommodation was extremely clean , we had a large light filled room with a balcony on the first floor, central heating, bed was very comfortable with great views of the lake and mountains. Bathroom modern clean. Nice thoughtful touches like bottled still or sparkling water , tea/ coffee making facilities with little treats for us . Delicious breakfast with Danilo who catered to our preferences. Loved our stay here.

A small reminder that the Villa is next to the road so it may be noisy at times if you open up the windows, but it wasn’t a bother for us we enjoyed the view and the terrace nonetheless

The garden is majestic! Having breakfast early in the morning facing the neatly kept landscape was a true winner for us. We also loved how pretty and peaceful the room was and must I say how good it smelled too. Danilo and his wife were absolutely lovely, it was easy to contact them whenever necessary.

Danilo was aware that the occasional noise of cars from the road at night was disruptive at times and had done his best to minimise this, including changing the windows! The only suggestion I have is perhaps installing air conditioning so that the windows can be kept closed at night.

This villa is a gem. Danilo is a kind, helpful, and has a wonderful sense of humour. He gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation and was always keen to meet our requests, making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He was easily contactable both before and during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and the gardens/villa beautiful. The rooms had modern bathroom, great water pressure, and lots of original features and character. The beach is a stone's throw away and very peaceful. I cant wait to go back!

Wonderful place to stay in Onno - as a couple or as family - close by so many beautiful places to visit around lake Como. Beautiful old villa with a wonderful garden, so relaxing and serene. Danilo is an attentive and discreet host.
