The location is close to the sea (10-minute walk), but on the farthest end of the nicest bit of shore in the area: this means that reaching the nearest beach is nice and easy, while getting to where you really want to be, to enjoy beach life as well as all other services, takes something like 30 minutes on foot. The hotel does offer bicycles to circumvent this issue, though.

The staff is very polite and professional: efficient while not being too cold, which is appreciated. Facilities are well presented, modern and beautifully vintage-styled. Cleanliness is impeccable. There is a posh vibe to the building that makes it feel upper class. Breakfast offering and presentation is just fantastic, there is anything one could ask for and more. The hotel and the surroundings are nice and quiet, sound insulation between rooms ans floors is good. Room thermal management is autonomous and easily controllable via touch-screen panels. Kettle and complimentary tea bags are provided in each room, which is not commonplace in Italian hotels. There are plenty of communal areas, both indoors and outdoors. Plenty of reserved parking space next to and opposite the hotel, very convenient. The pool with a bar next to it is a nice plus.

The hotel does not have its private beach, which wasn't clear from the advertisement. It has an agreement with other hotels to use theirs, but we haven't tried that as there is a small free beach not far.

The hotel and the room was nice and clean, the staff was welcoming and kind. The two main strenght of the hotel is the outside area with the pool, sunbeds, lots of seating areas to eat, work or play and the amazing breakfast. This place is great for families with little kids, the pool has a shallow part and there are some toys next to a seating area and the breakfast options are very child friendly.

Location is a bit far from most of the restaurants in the area (2 are within a 10-15min walk but are just OK.) You would have to drive/Uber to the others. Not really a problem for breakfast or lunch since there are on-site options in the summer season but requires some planning ahead for dinner.

The breakfast is great and our kids loved the pool - there is a built in shallow section of the pool where our toddler could play safely, which we loved. The family suite was very big and comfortable and had AC units in each room. The grounds are kept very well, including some toddler-oriented play equipment, and the staff were all very friendly.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Our room in the attic was a good size as was the bathroom. Air conditioning was a welcome bonus as the weather was hot. There was a good sized swimming pool and bikes to hire. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk away from the sea where you can find both public and private beach.

The staff was sweet and everyone was extremely helpful and went 100 miles to make our stay exquisite! The swimming pool was clean and looked like a 5☆. Everything in and out of the hotel was clean and tidy!

The hotel is lovely so are the staff. There were a few fixable things in our room that we reported, and the lady said they would fix them straight away. One of the balcony doors was broken, the safe didn't work, and the curtain needed adjusting, but we had a great view of the Alps. Our room was great. We left some fresh fruite for our 40th wedding anniversary , so I am grateful for everything.

The hotel is excellently maintained. Rooms are a bit small but the whole is excellent and breakfast is great and very varied. One note, it was recorded that there was air conditioning but the entire system was closed.

Fabulous family run hotel. The breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. They literally offered you everything! We were able to get sun beds by the pool every day despite it being peak soon and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Rooms were very clean and tidy.

I would struggle to find anything negative, to be honest. Perhaps the only thing is that the area is not as picturesque and has more of a seaside resort type of feel than romantic Tuscan charm. But it is more than suffiencient for a few nice beach days and as a good location to explore.

This is such a lovely little, family run hotel, which you can really sense during your entire experience. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Our family room was sufficient space and the mattresses were extremely comfortable, complete with balcony and aircon for those beautifully warm Tuscan nights. The pool was very relaxed, clean and offered a nice selection on the lunch menu. The absolute icing on the cake was the breakfast. There was everything on offer you could possibly wish for, healthy or indulgent options with a large selection of cereal, yoghurts, nuts, seeds, milk alternatives, pastries, cakes, croissants, an assortment of meats and cheeses, fruit, juices and lovely bread and spreads. Cooked breakfast such as pancakes, scrambled eggs, you name it, nothing was too much trouble. The coffee was just perfectly italian and I will miss my cappucino deca in the morning. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate your wishes. The beach and surrounding areas are perhaps not as picturesque as in other locations in Tuscany such as Castiglione, but it is lively enough with good restaurants and gelaterias en masse (Troppo Buono being the best out of the lot). All in all a wonderful stay for a couple of days by the beach which is only a stone throw away.
