It's a bit tricky to put the car in and out of the yard, as the street leading to the accommodation is limited to 1.8 meters. It kind of requires an experienced driver!

Great accommodation to use as a base for visiting other places on Lake Como. Mandello del Lario itself is very tiny, but cute, and offers the possibility of hikes. The accommodation was spacious, equipped with the necessary stuff. It was also warm, and some rooms have great views of the mountains. Communication was also good! I would recommend it!

the kitchen needs a lot of cleaning, the smell is very strong. the bed in one of the rooms is not very comfortable. The upholstered chairs in the room are quite dirty and also need a lot of cleaning. In general, the apartment also has a strong unpleasant smell, but this can be alleviated by opening the windows.

the apartment is large, well located, fresh, has facilities, private parking, a garden for pets.

We stayed in 1 floor (renovated apartment), 5 people, for 5 days, with one big car (SUV MG HS), in 24.04.05/10 *location is very good, close to train station (10 min walk), close to Eurospin market (15 min walk), very close to the beach (5 min walk), very close to Kikera cafe-bar *check in was easy, we arrived late but got check-in instruction via Whats'up, we got all needed information via communicating on Whats'up *apartment is newly renovated, very spacious (90 m2), warm, with electronic room temperature control *dish washer (+tablets), washing machine, 2 hairdryers, cooking equipment, wine glasses, oven - all new and working Some insights from my stay experience about this place: *narrow entrance with a car (1,80 m), we had a big car, but with help you can park it safely. Tip: if you come with small car or with no car (via train) it should be no problem for you. Also You can try to drive in and park from (Kikera cafe) side, it will be straight drive to the parking yard. Also keep in mind that all parking near Como lake is charged, so to have private parking is a big advantage. *there are no sugar, tea, salt, oil and etc. - but if You plan to live longer you can buy by-yourself - it is a small problem, comparing price for the stay *sofa is best to sleep alone, because one side is a bit hard *there were some ants, don't leave sweet food available, but I don't' mind them, sometimes I have ants at my home also :) *steps and noise are heard from above living flat, but after 22-23 h neighbors went to sleep so it does int bothered us THE MAIN POINT IS - THE BEST VALUE OF MONEY AND COMFORT WHAT YOU CAN GET IN THE REGION WITH SOME TRIGGERS (I managed to find this apartment for 500 Eur/ 5persons/5 days, and only other options were available from 900 eur and way above)

In the big bedroom, it was so cold that the floor and wall were constantly humid in one corner. The flat was not very clean (floors, dusting). The neighbours upstairs were very noisy during the night and throwing firecrackers in the yard all night long. We wrote to the host about them and she never wrote back or take any measures. The neighbours upstairs were also very rude when we asked them to keep quiet

Very big flat, recently renovated, with many useful amenities. Great location and good value for money.

We stayed in second floor apartement. It is not renovated. Most of the pictures in here are from other apartement.. If I ever knew, I would not have booked. Bad smell in the corridor. Furniture really old, something broken. Pillows old and slightly grey under the pillow case. One of the mattresses hard. Furniture on balcony was broken. It is a shame to leave a rotten chair. I sat down when it was dark, almost got injured. Spiderwebs all-around balcony ceilings. View from building aweful, broken swing in yard, abandoned spooky building over the street. Poor sound proofing, was bothered by neighbours just closing the curtains and doors. No air conditioning. Narrow street, suits for small car. For big car might be uncomfortable. But it is Italy. I would say not worth the money.

Everything, apartaments is in good place near to train, bus, lake. Was clean and a big rooms. We are happy and we will comeback.

Usually do not leave reviews but honestly these guys were amazing! I couldn’t turn on the boiler and they had called and messaged me until I figured it out. SUPER clean and spacious place. Views from window was absolutely breathtaking. It’s in a great location.

Apartment was dirty (floors, mattresses, bed sheets, etc). Doors don't lock or even close properly. We were attacked by ants. We were bitten by them in the bed(yes ants didn't only eat all our food, but also occupied beds). Based on all this we could stay only 1 night of 3 because we were uncomfortable about all this. Communication with the host was a nightmare. They didn't write back, lack of communication was tremendous. And we were not compensated for any of the troubles above.

It was in a good location.

If you live on a ground floor- you hear each step of your neighbours. No soap, dishwashing detergent left in the apartment.

Newly renovated apartment, very spacious! There is dishwasher and washing machine in the apartment.

It was a bit narrow to enter with the car, quite a challenge!

The apartment is renovated, extremely spacious and well equipped. Perfect for a family! The host was extremely nice and responded to all our inquiries.

The house is old and needs some more renovation (e.g. windows). Also outside space needs some remodelling for guests to enjoy their stay. There is very narrow space at the main gate for a car to enter, so if your car is slightly wider, a very skilful driver is much needed. The house was scented with a very strong and unpleasant fragrance, you even tasted it in your mouth.

Parking space is via congested or very small road. It was painful to get to the parking of house. We were almost trapped in between two walls of road in car unable to get out or move. We couldn’t use car for rest of stay we decided to take it only when leaving due to narrow streets problem.

Everything was very good but parking issue. It would be nice to describe small road to the property so that people will know in advance and plan parking somewhere else.
