Beds weren’t that comfortable, a dishwasher would be nice and a proper shower rather than shower bath would improve it. Difficult road to navigate getting to the property - very narrow.

Very spacious and clean apartment. Lovely views from the windows and outside terrace. Plenty of cutlery and plates etc - kitchen well stocked. Swimming pool was beautiful! Washing machine very useful.

Very nice apartments in a villa on a hill with a large terrace with a hot tub and a view of the sea, nice and quiet surroundings, close to the center of Amalfi, everything was fine, we enjoyed our stay. Special thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. We would love to come back here again.

We received a lovely welcome and were shown around the villa and then taken to our apartment, which was exceptional. Our apartment was modern and very comfortable, with a large t.v., tea and coffee making facilities, a complementary mini bar, beautiful towels for pool and showering, toiletries and hair dryer. So everything to make it very comfortable for our stay! There was a beautiful breakfast served to our apartment each morning by lovely Carmela…which set us up for the day. We had our room cleaned and refreshed with everything each day. Carla and Carmela were superb! So helpful in every way!! The pool was excellent, clean and plenty of loungers and umbrella’s, there was an outstanding view of the Amalfi coast as we enjoyed the pool area. You can enjoy beautiful walks off the area, which you can access from the property, down to Amalfi and up to Ravello. We would highly recommend staying at Villa Sant Alfonso…for a very relaxing and refreshing holiday.

It was in the most beautiful area of the Amalfi Coast. The villa was amazing. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Really big spacious villa with everything you need. Beautiful pool area over looking Ravello & the Mediterranean ocean. We hired a car instead of getting the bus. There are car parks in both Almafi & Ravello & aren’t that expensive. It was so good to come back to the villa & relax after spending time down on the coast. The host Carla, her family & staff were all so helpful & nothing was a problem. Villa Sant’Alfonos is a credit to you all & thank you for making our holiday on the Almafi coast a great experience.

Breakfast on the terrace each morning was beautiful with stunning views. The location is excellent and getting into Scala and Ravello is incredibly easy on foot. The buses into Amalfi are cheap and easy to navigate. Carla was fantastic and nothing was too difficult. She answered all our questions and gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and things to do.

Our stay at this property was truly delightful. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the views are absolutely stunning. We stayed in a villa for six people, and it was very comfortable and well-equipped for our needs. Although the pool was quite cold (as expected due to the weather), we gave it a try and found it refreshing—definitely worth the dip! We had rented a minivan and anticipated parking would be challenging in the region, but to our surprise, it was quite manageable with this villa The staff, especially the ladies managing the property, were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Their warmth added a special touch to our stay. We highly recommend this place for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

The villa is very well located for access to Amalfi coast. It is up in the mountain, close to Ravello. Scala village is very pretty and authentic with shops and nice restaurants. We were able to walk or take the bus to all places we wanted to access on the coast and it was lovely to come back to a quiet location after a long day of exploring. We were travelling with two kids and they loved the pool and the jacuzzi!! Absolutely loved our stay!

Place is WOWWWW, astonishing views, pool and jacuzzi super great feature to add to this splendid place. Quiet and out of the business of amalfi cost but everything close enough. Scala a beautiful quiet Village, more authentic italian. We loved Every bit of our stay here. Traveled with small baby and teenagers.

Absolutely loved the stay. Facilities were amazing, both in the room and shared. In our case the pool was just a few steps from our room, and breakfast was great and at the property. All - room, pool and breakfast - with a great view. Also loved the location - Scala was nice and quite yet very close to Ravello and Amalfi. Plus Carla and the staff were great!

Would be nice to have a choice of a little softer pillow.......and the wifi signal at times is not that strong. Might be the "Italian way'. All in all a super stay!!

Amazing location in the mountains just a stone throw away from Amalfi Coast and 1 km from Ravelo. Carla is just a top host. Warm, friendly and ready to assist with any query you have. Modern Appartment, large private terrace and even a BBQ set up. Fully equipped kitchen makes this a wonderful place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Carla was very accommodating. We loved our villa and had a beautiful view. The swimming pool had a beautiful view as well. Scala was a great place to stay as it meant we were out of the hustle and bustle of the coastal towns and able to find authentic food and drink rather than throngs of tourists. We would recommend staying here. There are a couple of things to be aware of - one is that the area is very hilly and you do need to be willing to walk up hill and up stairs. If that isn't something you're up for you need to avoid Amalfi Coast or stay somewhere at water level. Otherwise, the buses do not run to an accurate schedule and getting from Scala to the coast without a vespa or car will require some patience. Provided these locational features are acceptable then Villa Sant Alfonso is a brilliant place to base yourself for a wonderful stay on the Amalfi Coast.

The friendly staff! Carla and team were excellent hosts! We were gifted two bus tickets one morning on our way to Rovello... such a sweet gesture.! The room was amazing! Modern, clean, spacious, and private. The daily breakfast was delightful... and plentiful. The cups of cappuccino each morning were so beautifully Italian! Very nice and refreshing swimming pool on-site. We loved the private setting in the quaint town of Scala! We loved our stay... thank you for the phenomenal hospitality.!!!
