Wow, what can I say—my wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely incredible! The facilities were fantastic, the views breathtaking, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We were kindly upgraded to the Wellness Suite in celebration of our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The property itself feels like a true Tuscan dream—easy to reach by car, with plenty of parking, and surrounded by stunning scenery. Waking up to those views each morning felt surreal. The location was also perfect: close to Florence and other beautiful cities, making day trips simple and enjoyable. The staff were always ready to help with recommendations and directions, which made exploring even easier. I couldn’t recommend this place more—it’s the perfect Tuscan escape!

Nothing - the property was spectacular

Nestled in the rolling Tuscan hills, the property offered breathtaking views. It perfectly captured the rustic charm we were seeking, while still providing every modern convenience. The spa was outstanding, and the pool and restaurant were equally impressive.

A few things mainly revolving around service and what a 5 star hotel standard should be. 1. We found the staff at breakfast a bit abrasive and not very welcoming. For example, when you sit, no one will come to your table and ask you what you want to drink/ whether u want eggs in a certain way.. etc. We found ourselves constantly “looking” for staff to ask for something. 2. The tables for breakfast are not set. A luxury hotel would have set tables. Not cafeteria style tables. See photo. We stayed at a 5 star hotel in Garda right before and the service was simply not comparable to this one although they are the same price. 3. There is no service at the pool. For example, want shade? Move the umbrella yourself. Want a drink? Walk to the bar or wait an hour until someone passes by by chance (they don’t pass by and ask would you like to drink something?). Interesting service model for sure. 4. I wasn’t a huge fan of the food. Florence and Tuscany have much more amazing food. 5. Spa facilities were not included in the already high price for the room. I wonder, what luxury hotel doesn’t allow their paying customers to use the sauna as part of their stay! I understand spa services are an extra charge, but the spa itself should be open to the guests. I booked a massage and even then the spa facilities were not included. I have never heard of this. The massage itself was fantastic and Laura was lovely and professional. I highly recommend her. 6. No one told us about the second outdoor pool that we could have used (it has a nicer view check it out). 7. The prices are almost New York standard. A small beer is 8.5 euros (almost 10 dollars), cocktails are 18 euros.. etc.

Stunning Hotel. Gorgeous pool and facilities. We loved the walk around the estate which had animals and beautiful vineyards. The staff at check in were nice and helped us with luggage even though we arrived late. The bar where you have aperitifo is lovely and the staff are great! Location is not so far from Florence so that’s a plus.

The breakfast was very limited and the price of some items seemed overpriced. Pasta making classes can be found cheaper at other nearby villas to book which is what we did. The lighting in the room was very poor, and for the price quite small.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful, the staff were so attentive and helpful. The spa, pool and restaurant was lovely. Walks around the grounds were enjoyable with donkeys, sheep, pigs etc all spotted on the land.

It was a bit rainy during our stay and you have to walk outside to get to the restaurants.

This was such a beautiful place to stay! The entire property is beyond beautiful! There are sheep, goats, dogs, and ducks. We loved watching the baby sheep and goats running around. The pools overlook the green Tuscany views. They have a lovely spa with lots of different rooms and great staff to show you around. The restaurants are phenomenal and were more than happy to accommodate me as a vegan! Most of the food you eat there is straight from the property so it is very fresh. Our room was nice and we loved the bathroom and views! An extra thank you to the staff!! They are great.

I really liked the place and general feeling. Rooms are spacious and super comfortable and while maintaining this "older villa-like" feeling it feels modern and comfortable. I must say that all the experiences and extras are really expensive. Also, on our checkout after breakfast we asked whether it would be possible to drink a coffee outside on the terrace to enjoy the views since it was finally sunny after rain they just said no. I feel there was a lot of other people who would like to do the same, it was Sunday, so their service was a bit slow and uninterested, it is not that hard to take out a few of chair cushions outside.

Our stay at the villa was just fine. We got an upgrade of the room, and it was excellent, really huge bathroom, access to the garden directly from the room, and super comfortable bed. The whole complex is great, quiet and neat. Also a shoutout to staff at the reception, they were utterly helpful.
