We liked location, house as it self, apartment.

Layout. Master bedroom was straight behind the main doors

Clean enough, location is a trade off with a panoramic view, contactless check-in and check-out, cold water in fridge

Absolutely gorgeous view from the room. They overlook the islands off in the middle of the lake. The rim road at the bottom is not for the faint of heart. No shoulder and LOTS of fast driving cars. A bit of a walk (15 minutes of stress) to the main part of town. We taxied back.

Access to town by foot.

view was really beautiful, since you can see the lake and all the islands, the place has a beautiful garden. The apartment was very spacious.

it was a bit too loud, since the rooms are separated only by a door, so you can hear the other visitors... the bed mattress was uncomfortable (v soft, sinking in feeling) the place is high up on a hill, so no amenities close by, you have to drive down by car for 5-10 min

Villa María is a super place to stay in Stresa. The place is perfect is size and location with the best views A lot of attention to detail that I don’t see normally in other places It is a 10! I will be back.

Our apartment at Villa Maria was beautiful. Unfortunately, we only had one night, but we could easily have stayed for a week given the size and comfort of the apartment. The apartment is above the lake, and the view was amazing.

Really the only downside to Villa Maria is that it is a bit out of town and up a fairly steep hill. We walked to the boat dock to go to Isola Bella, but some people might not be comfortable with that.

nothing - it was perfect!

The view was absolutely spectacular. It's actually why I booked Villa Maria, but the room was excellent too. Clean, comfortable, daily visits from the cleaner, who supplied an ironing board and iron when asked. Breakfast snacks and coffee topped up daily too. The owner also came to chat, and was very friendly.

I loved everything.

High quality spacious accommodation up above Maggiore. Great views. Short car ride to ferry from Carciano taking you to all destinations on the Lake. Would return.

Tricky to find, up a steep narrow road the location of which is not obvious. A bit of a way out of Stresa so really a car ride to a restaurant.

Just the most gorgeous view! Great shower and bed. Very roomy.

Too far to walk to town. Fridge was very small and no kitchen to speak of. Also would have appreciated water glasses, not just wine glasses. Could hear people next door.

The location gives a superb and almost unique view of Isola Bella and Isola Superior with the lake and surrounding mountains as a spectacular backdrop

Amazing views, nice big room. Be aware it is up a steep hill - perfect if you have a car (we did) but not really walkable to shops etc.

The place is a bit discountected from town and requires a long drive/walk up. And the entrance is not very clear (at the bottom of the road)

Just on the fringe of Stresa a beautiful property on top of the hill, that has an amazing view of Lake Maggiore and the 3 islands. The room and bathroom was very spacious. Includes a couch and inside dining table and table and chairs to sit outside. Would highly recommend staying here.

We didn't have a car so the walk up the hill was difficult, but don't let this stop you, it is so worth it once you get there. Breakfast was prepackaged croissant and pre-toasted bread, but Stresa has some amazing patisseries and restaurants.

Amazing views, huge and well furnished, very easy check-in and did I mention the views?? Easy walk to the boat terminal to visit the islands too
