The bathroom was a bit small.

The location was great. Driving through the old town to get to the hotel was challenging, but a nice experience.

Maybe i misunderstood the parking situations but the property charges a 15€ fee per day when you want to park there. Nontheles I would recomend the parking at the property, it would just be great if they would add the fee into the property description.

The room was clean, the staff was really friendly. The breakfast was adequate. Would recommend as it is located in a quiet part of the city not far from the bustling center.

There was no reception. It was quite a way out of town up a steep hill and the only way to get there from getting off the ferry was by walking - no taxis would come to/from - being just my daughter and I it was really hard work getting g to / from the ferry with luggage

Hot water pressure was terrible. Hopefully just our room. Wasn’t a deal breaker as it was super hot and we mostly took cold showers during our visit. But the hotel should look into room 11.

Great location, staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond. The rooms were spotless and same around the whole hotel. Breakfast was really nice aswell. Great communication when arranging the parking and staff went above and beyond notifying when a road was closed. Would highly recommend this hotel.

It would be fantastic if there was a pool but the lake is a 10 minute walk away.

The only "negative" thing was the mosquitos, that would get inside at evening so some mosquito nets on windows would be ideal, but other than that there was nothing that would ruin our stay at the hotel.

The hotel was sitting in the outskirt of old Town of Sirmione, however only a short 7-8 minutes walk to the little cosy city center. Very clean, spacious room with a quite small bathroo.m, with an even smaller shower cabinet. The breakfast was very good. A friendly helpful man at Hotel Continenral checked us in, this was approx 150 metres down the hill from Villa Maria. If you come by car you need a parking reservation as there is no possibility for street parking.

More an issue of my research but I drove a rental car and into the sirmione area the cars share same space as pedestrians so that was a little slow nerve wrecking (ensure the hotel have your car registration on record as the barrier may not rise if your car isn't in the system) but was manageable. Parking was a bit tight but had a guy help squeeze us in. Needed to go to another hotel down the road first to get keys but that wasn't too far.

If you want to be right in amongst it on the peninsula then this is good as can easily walk to most places. Had a view of the lake (not 180degrees but still nice)

Parking space was very tight and the shower cubicle was even tighter - one had to be a contortionist and there was nowhere to even put the shampoo/soap bottle!

Nothing. Although our air conditioner keeps turning on & off and we just couldn't figure out how to stay it on 😅. But other than that, everything is perfect for us.

Great location very close to historic center but yet a few streets away so it is quiet. Small but tidy and clean room, had a nice balcony, good breakfast. The drive thru the center is a bit stressful but it works in the end, I wouldn't do it every day though.

Ridiculously small bathroom - to the extent the entrance door only opens halfway because it hits the bidet! The shower is also ridiculously small with no shelf for toiletries, which means you need to be a contortionist to pick them up from the shower tray if you are tall or bigger build. If you are larger build or limited mobility, these rooms are not suitable. The balcony is also small - but it does fit two small chairs and a small drinks table. Having to check-in at a different location is annoying, but it was close. Check out staff were indifferent (we're not Ferrari drivers!) and didn't ask about our stay - I think he knew not to ask!

Extremely efficient Villa Maria check-in and pleasant check-in staff at Hotel Continental (they know you are arriving, as Sirmione has car registration recognition) - detailed information was also provided during check-in . Comfy large bed. Modern, clean. Great breakfast and friendly and efficient parking and breakfast staff at Villa Maria. Lake view from balcony.
