Meryl and her family were so welcoming and friendly, and the property was so beautiful. The gardens were full of beautiful fruit trees and Meryl told me to help myself to them. The rooms and the whole villa was so beautifully appointed. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved everything Villa Lou offered to us. Everything worked great. This hotel was one of the best parts of our honeymoon. Breakfast was 10/10, hosts were 10/10, room was 10/10 and outside area was 10/10. We were happy about the great laundry service and airconditioner.

We visited Italy for a wedding in Tuscany and made a stop at Lake Garda. Booking Villa Lou was the best choice we could’ve made. The place is stunning: beautifully decorated rooms, a peaceful garden, and a delicious breakfast. You can feel the love and attention Merel and Vincent put into every detail. It’s cozy, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. If you’re heading to Lake Garda, don’t think twice, just book Villa Lou.

Merel & Vincent have created an absolutely amazing place! It is perfected in the smallest details, every corner here is delightful - both the interior and the garden. This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed, and we travel quite a lot with my partner. The hospitality and cordial approach of the hosts is also worth mentioning - they are just really nice, warm and helpful people :) We slept comfortably, enjoyed a delicious and abundant breakfast served to us in such a beautiful garden, we had a morning swim in the pool and relaxing time on the sunbeds.. The only regret is.. too short stay! We HAVE TO be back :)

The family running Villa Lou were exceptionally welcoming and generous in having us as guests. The villa itself is beautiful inside and out, with our room decorated in a modern yet classic fashion, full of homely touches like plants and smart books. The room had high quality electric window shutters and a beautiful large modern bathroom. The room’s fridge was large and very convenient to get nice Prosecco, etc from. The gardens around the property are a huge highlight - perfectly tended to and full of colour and variety. We opted to have a made to order breakfast in them every morning which was a delight of a pretty setting with wonderfully generous food and coffee. The fresh pasties, fresh fruit and yogurt were particularly nice. The pool was only a few weeks old when we arrived and was excellent. We also appreciated the excellent laundry service. Villa Lou is a real gem and we’re very grateful to have stayed.

Absolutely lovely stay. The hosts were very kind and thought of everything before we even asked. The property is gorgeous. The room (including the bathroom) was beautifully decorated and included everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and we were provided with many options. Overall 10/10.

This lovely bed and breakfast has to be the best I have ever seen or stayed in... the room was beautiful and had pure luxury feel about it. the whole building and garden was immaculate and very well cared for. the little extra facilities in the room had that personal touch so it felt homely. the breakfast was amazing and brought to our room so we could enjoy the stunning views with our breakfast . there is nothing that merel and Vincent haven't thought about. thank you so much for a great stay but I do wish we stayed longer.

Newly renovated villa (opened to guests in May), stylish and comfortable, sparkling clean and well organized, with hosts who would go the extra mile to make your stay a wonderful experience. Having years of experience in hospitality, the lovely, warm and friendly couple owning the estate really pays attention to every detail in order to make you feel at home. Their children and very well-behaved dogs (which you get to see only on your request) contribute even more to the feeling of being welcomed in a family. Couldn't recommend this place more if you want a 5 star experience!
