a bit far from city, not convenient for those without a car

Whether it was sipping coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the setting was absolutely perfect. The host was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always ready with great recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems in the area. Their hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a unique and authentic Italian retreat, this villa is the perfect choice. Carlo was an amazing host for this beautiful place for part of our holiday. Close to the beach and has everything you could wish for.

This area of Bari, Bari Palese, although coastal and sports stunning sunsets, is a 40-minute bus ride out of Central Bari. This should be considered.

Carlo, our host was exceptional, and so very lovely and generous. Fridge and breads well stocked every day as we're the coffee pods. The Villa is stunning, kept exactly as it should be for being built in 1870. Modern touches such as AC have been installed, but the building has been kept in keeping with the time of its construction. The area is nice, quiet, and safe. There are some lovely restaurants in the vicinity and everyone was so very friendly. Bus services are cheap, frequent, and punctual.

It was a once in a lifetime experience that exceeded our expectations in all aspects. the host Carlo is best representation of Italian warm hearted friend you go visit and the stay felt like visiting a family or friend. Everything looks beautiful and peaceful.

There was nothing to dislike.

From the moment we arrived the owner helped us settling in. Carlo is very friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The property dates from 1820, and all the furniture was kept as if in a time warp. Carlo stocked the small kitchen with all the necessities for snacking and breakfast. There were ample supplies which was topped up the next day. There is parking available on the premises. The area is quiet and very peaceful. We were given our own keys to come and go as we pleased. Great restaurants are within walking distance from the Villa, following the coastline next to the shore.

This is an old family home with a ton of history and a great library of antique books. The room was very nice, clean, and had a superb view. Breakfast was included. The washroom was a bit small but tidy. 👌

The kitchen is really small, you can’t cook a meal. You can fry or boil an egg. Breakfast is very basic.

Our host was very thoughtful and the fridge was very well stocked with everything for a good breakfast. There was also coffee and tea and a bottle of red wine on the table. The location is stunning, right near the sea. The house itself is a jewel, with antique furniture arranged with great taste. Everything is perfectly preserved, it really makes you fell like you travel through time. The host, Carlo, is very nice and helpful and really makes you feel at home.
