The expense, but that’s now the new normal for this poor town that overtourism is destroying. We first came 20 years ago and it was magical - not any more. It is now a victim of its own success and must be unbearable for the locals who still try to live there. We tourists have a lot to answer for.

Everything about this unique property is fabulous except the price, but then this is what Positano has become. Everything in Positano is now crazy expensive.

At first, we were a bit doubtful about Positano, thinking it might be overrated — but this place totally changed our minds. Everything was fantastic, and we had such a lovely time here. We enjoyed every minute of it.

Everything was perfect.

The tower is such an incredible and unique historical property within easy walk from the ferry and close to the town centre and beaches. Our hostesses Marina & Roberta looked after us from our arrival and were attentive our whole stay. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen which included breakfast items, charcuterie and Prosecco. The Junior Suite was clean and spacious with an amazing private terrace where we spent hours enjoying the spectacular view. Such an oasis away from the crowds. There is nothing we didn’t like loved it all!

This was the most stunning location! And we were taken care of start to finish from the second we stepped off the ferry! Loved the care for the room daily and the completely stocked kitchen for snacks and to make an amazing breakfast to have out on the patio area overlooking the water! We enjoyed every second here!

Wow! What a beautiful location and room. We loved every minute of it. We loved sitting on the Balcony and getting lost in the scenery. Gorgeous! The location is close to the ferry and the fact that we didn't have to walk hundreds of stairs was the best. We loved being close to a more secluded beach. It was amazing!

The shower was slightly small

The room was in a great location. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry port. The host was lovely and kept our bags before and after check in/out. The room was very well equipped with food for breakfast, juice, snacks, and complimentary Prosecco. There is a private balcony with exceptional sea views. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Would definitely recommend this place to couples.

The property is perfectly located with a few minute walk to both the main beaches and the harbour, stil very still and calm. Amazing view out towards the ocean (I stayed in the Junior suite). The room and terrace are very nice and charming. Everything you need is available including some cooking facilities, and the fridge is stocked with some lighter food, juice and water.

The most incredible place to stay, topped with exceptional service. The place you NEED to stay when you visit Positano.. close to amazing restaurants and the best swimming spots. So much history in where we were staying. Thank you so so much for allowing us to stay here. We hope to be back.

Very special place. A boutique hotel inside a tower that overlooks both parts of Positano harbor. Beautiful, comfortable and a really cool spot.

More clarity on the cost of parking/porters. It was surprising to pay roughly 300€ extra for these two things even on just a 3 nights stay. It would also be nice to have a check-out later than 11am.

The property location was top notch and the terrace provided amazing views, perhaps the best in Positano. The kitchen supplies and stocked fridge were an excellent touch and made eating at the property nice and very convenient.

Everything! Quite possibly the most beautiful place I have ever stayed! Absolutely incredible! The location is excellent - not to far away from the centre but lovely and quiet. Lots of delicious food items to make our breakfast. Host always easy to contact before and during our stay. The tower is breath taking! I will be back and having walked around most of positano looking at the beautiful buildings I can confirm the tower would still 100% be my first choice!

We loved everything.

Torre Trasita is magical. An exceptional experience. The location is perfect! An easy stroll to everything. Amazing views. Very peaceful and relaxing. Roberta had stocked the fridge and pantry for us and helped us with lots of recommendations. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.
