Reviews of Villa La Petraia

A beautiful Villa 200mtrs from the quaint town of Panzano. Nada welcomed us on our arrival and made us feel so welcome, all facilities were exceptional, especially the pool with magnificent views over the Chianti valley. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Christine has created a glorious space to enjoy everything that Tuscany offers. I couldn’t recommend this Villa more highly, it was absolutely wonderful and we will most definitely return. Thank you for such a special time.

Everything about the place, the staff and our stay was perfect.

I instantly felt at home in Christine's bed and breakfast. She is amazing and so kind and helpful. She reserved dinner for us with a private chef and it was some of the best food I ate on our trip. The town is small and cute. Christine made us a reservation with a perfect winery. Breakfast was delicious each morning. We loved it!

Beautiful villa impeccably restored and maintained located in town with spectacular views of Tuscan countryside. Amazing breakfasts. Christine has addressed every possible want or need. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely everything, our stay here was perfect. The location is unbelievable with stunning views from the window and all around the property. The common areas were comfortable and everything was beautifully designed and optimised for comfort. The breakfast was amazing, the wine list is reasonably priced and all fantastic super local picks. Christine went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay and booked a number of experiences and restaurants for us which were all incredible. If Panzano or Tuscany in general is on your radar please consider staying here.

There was nothing we didn’t like, only that we didn’t stay for longer!

The host Christine has thought of every way to make the stay comfortable and to make you feel pampered. Comfortable rooms, privacy, spacious bathrooms, incredible setting, outstanding breakfast, gracious hospitality throughout the stay.

There was nothing to dislike. The hospitality was outstanding. Parking is a little tricky, but with a small car it's fine (not unlike most places in Italy!).

Everything about this villa is superb. It’s comfortable, welcoming, quick check in and ample information about the area. The breakfast, views, pool and wine fridge were perfection. The hosts have thought of all the perfect touches

That we didn’t book more nights

We had a wonderful stay at the villa with our extended family. The property is lovely and in a great location in town. The views from the villa and property are spectacular. You can see that lots of care and attention has gone into the experience. Christine was very accommodating to our group.

Nothing to complain

Walkable, gorgeous, comfortable, full of amenities, and most of all, welcoming. Christine and her incredible villa are simply the best. You won't find a better place in town and we wish we had stayed longer.

Excellent location. Historical building, but fully restored, everything up to date. Perfect hospitality. Highly recommended.

This is an exceptional stay, located in the picturesque town of Panzano. The rooms, facilities, pool and breakfast were all phenomenal, however the personal hospitality from Christine & John (owners) was a class above. Special shout out to Connie, the in-house cooking class chef who made our stay extra special. Thank you Villa La Petraia for making our vacation so memorable.

We Loved everything about this property. The view over the countryside from the terrace and swimming pool was stunning. The decor is charming and they have retained as much as they could during the refurb of the property. The staff were lovely and the host was really kind to upgrade our room to fit our 2 bikes in. The room we had was amazing so we were very grateful. We wished we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was lovely and we asked for an extra coffee and we’re not charged. The honesty bar has great wines and there really is everything you need here. We would highly recommend staying here.

Nothing we loved it all. One thing to mention is that if you wanted silence and tranquility you will hear road traffic due to the location but that didn’t bother us.

This was our favorite stay in Italy. So nice. Christine and her staff were so very helpful and friendly. Christine arranged manny restaurant reservations and wine tour reservations for us. The front of the B&B is right in the middle of Panzano, within walking distance of everything in the town. Yet, the back of the B&B is right on vineyards and olive orchards (see photo). Breakfast was personal, delicious, and included a WIDE selection of hot and cold items. Our room was large with modern amenities, with a private outdoor seating patio. This B&B is where you should stay in Panzano. It has private car parking.
