The air-conditioning wasn't sufficient and the room floor felt unclean, an elevator would be nice, but since it is an old renovated building i understand it wasn't challenging to install.

Lovely family run b&b in a beautiful villa in amazing surroundings that’s been renovated to a very high standard. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Very dog friendly and the vegetarian food was lovely. Plenty of free parking nearby. A real gem!

Stairs, no flat access at the front, small lip between roadway and front garden area. Road runs right outside so watch out as cars come by quite close. I did manage though, to get my mobility scooter in and park it for the night. I would not let that stop me going back but it would be good if they could improve disabled access where possible.

Totally gorgeous place and the food is to die for, one of the best meals I'v ever had! Lovely tables both inside and out, you must book as they are highly regarded and book up fast. Excellent choice of dishes or full menus with prices from 20euro to 42 euro typically. We had a three course meal with two bottles of wine and it was £80 per person. I would have paid that any day of the week for the food we had!. Room was lovely too, large bed, extra pillows in wardrobe, gorgeous bathroom and good shower. Small balconies give an option to sit out but we found it far too hot for that! Staff and owner are amazingly helpful. Good breakfast buffet, croissant, breads, jams, juice and excellent coffee. Parking was easy, just past the villa and first turning left, big free parking area.

We took junior suite because we went with our daughter. And the shower has transparent walls - it does not mean it is not suitable for a couple rmantic getaway, but not really for a family with kids.

The property is an old villa renovated with good attention to details. They invested a lot I think. They also have a fancy restaurant, wine room all of good taste and quality. High class. In the center of Chiavenna, one hour from St Moritz. Parking is at 4 minutes and free. From the parking you can go up in a park (3€) and see Chiavenna from top.

A wonderful all around experience, from the location in historic Chiavenna, the extreme friendliness of the owners, the beautiful villa, outstanding food provided by the young chef. We can only imagine if it were summer and we would have been able to use the garden and outside area, too.

The hotel is simply beautiful and the food in the restaurant is exquisite. The proprietors are welcoming and helpful and make you feel very much at home. The garden is quiet with seats and tables and has a spectacular backdrop of rock and mountains. Would strongly recommend staying at this very special establishment.
