The room absolutely stunning! The room had the most beautiful chandelier in it and was like a room out of a palace! The host Rebecca gave us loads of local food recommendations as well that were all lovely.

Just before entering our room, there was a noticeable damp smell in that small hallway—adding a pleasant fragrance there would be a nice touch.

The interior of the apartment, particularly the room we stayed in, was truly charming and beautifully designed. The location is fantastic and very convenient. However, the entry area felt a bit cold and impersonal, maybe lacking some warmth. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

The room had a balcony on a small courtyard where people could pass by so not very keen on having it open. So not too much light in the room. Also accessing the property at night it is dark, you need the phone light as there are no sensor lights and no switches next to the main door.

Great location right in the centre of the city but still in a quiet corner. The room is located in a ground floor apartment in an historical building. Good to have kettle and coffee maker in the room, not found everywhere in Italy.

The spa bath did not work and when asked how to make it work I was told there is a switch in the bathroom. Non of which worked 😢. Get a taxi from train station not the bus as advised

The only issue was that our room didn’t have a window, just the terrace doors so it was a bit dark. But we spent most time outside so it didn’t bother us too much

Great location, right next to major sights and food spots. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. I really liked that it was equipped with things such as air condotioner, hair dryer and soap. WiFi worked perfectly as well

The windows are on the ground floor, they open to the cortyard.

I loved the room, it felt so luxurious. Never been to an accommodation like this before. It was in the center of the old town so eveything was really close. If every accommodation was like this, traveling would be 10 times more fun. It was clean. There was hot water in the shover.

Everything was absolutely perfect from the coffee/kettle offered, the bed, the large and fully equipped bathroom, generous host, location, etc!

The staff here was very accommodating and nice. I believe it was one of my favorite stays I have ever had. The building and room was very historical looking and it felt like I was traveling back in time with elegance.

Would recommend if you want to rent a nice room in Verona and just do your own thing. Like you would with Airbnb. The room is big, clean and nice, and the location is great. Would not recommend if you, like us, was hoping to be a little less self sufficient. Arriving in the evening, there is no one in the reception, it’s pitch dark inside, and you receive instruction on how to find the room per message app/mail. It is not possible to store luggage at the hotel for some hours before departure, but they recommend a luggage storage about a ten minute walk from the hotel. In hindsight we would do better at a more classic hotel, but we ordered through booking.com and it was not, in my opinion clear, just how self sufficient you would be in villa fontina. But again not so much criticism of the place, more things I would have liked to know beforehand. We were also a bit unlucky with construction work from 07.30 am, but that is hard for the host to have any control over ☺️

Lack of communication and facility provider was uncontactable and restaurants close-by were unaware of the suites. We almost booked another hotel worrying we had been scammed. Thanks to the helpful staff at another hotel we were able to locate the contact!

No hot water ran from the shower, but the stuff was available only during the day, therefore despite of our contact in the evening we had no reply. Bedside lamp, other several lamps, and the safe in the closet did not work. Overpriced for low maintenance property.

Room smelt a bit damp. Shower was leaking on the floor. Entrance was weird like a big house but unsure if we were allowed to relax in that house. Very dark.
