The location was beautiful, so calm, lovely view of the Etna, great swimming pool, and rooms with good beds and all you need! What made our stay exceptional, were the magnificent hosts! A very warm and kind family that made us feel at home instantly! And the organic breakfast, featuring home made croissants, cake and cookies was so tasty! Unforgettable stay! ♥️

They staff were so friendly and treated me like family. The castle was also unique, i had never stayed in a castle before. Also the food was to die for. The over experience of this place was a 20/10 and if im ever in Sicily again ill be sure to visit.

Rosetta welcomed us like we were long-lost family! We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the place. The setting is spectacular. The rooms were large and comfortable. The pool and pool deck in pristine condition. The food was delicious.

Great choice, the owners are very friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable. The location is excellent, the place is very well preserved and with a beautiful view from our room we could see Mount Etna and even on the first night we received a gift which was to see it erupt.

Pool was quite crowded sometimes because there is also people who doesn’t stay at the hotel.

Place was clean and comfortable. You should eat there because you get the best home cooked meal there!

There is some noise between the rooms. There is some noise from the road that bothered me at first, but then I stopped noticing it. There is some construction noise where a new pool is being built next to the existing pool, again, I stopped noticing it and it’s not all the time. There is not much happening in Ragalna, but that’s ok for us.

The building is beautiful, Rosa and Gino work very hard to keep everyone happy. We felt welcome. We ate dinner twice and enjoyed it very much. The pistachio ravioli and the Parmesan were perfect. The red house wine is just right for me. The pool area is clean and spacious, the water was lovely on a hot day. The room overlooking the pool was comfortable, the bed was firm, just how I like it. The shower was great. A great location to visit etna. Taormina was about one hour and twenty minutes. Two friendly little dogs live on the property, they do not bother anyone, and I loved them!

Nothing I didn’t like.

Fabulous 3 nights here, so well looked after by the wonderful host Rosetta. The property is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has the most wonderful garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was a feast and we also tried lunch and dinner here which were equally wonderful. Can also recommend the wine and tasting menu at Enoteca dell’Etna which is up the road and very tasty and good value.

Rosetta and Gino were warm and generous hosts. Food was excellent. Arriving early, we were treated to a huge and delicious (and very reasonably priced) Sunday lunch in the company of local families. Breakfast was similarly generous, with homemade bread and pastries. Arriving in late April, we were the only other guests. The pool looked inviting. Views back to Etna and forward, out over the plain below. The village has an excellent wine bar/winery with a diverse stock of Etna wines, as well as its own excellent produce. Erico, was a charming and in informative host.

If you are looking for a modern, new expectable franchise Hotel, this is probably not your place. But if you are looking for something special, authentic, clean, quite and home-ish feeling place, this will be your choice! You get heart warming treatment by the Villa team. The pool is super beautiful with scenic view and you can drink your morning coffee with clear view on Etna (which is very close). And the Antipasti is delicious.

The pillows were a bit too soft and the bed was a little too hard for my liking.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The views of Villa Casina dell'Etna are lovely and the place is a very tranquil. We felt quite at home during our stay and we would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone. We would visit again if we come back to Sicily!

Our flight was delayed due to a strike so we didn't arrive until after 9pm. Even this late, Rosetta welcomed us, showed us to our room and made us feel at home. In the morning we had great food and we were even allowed to take some with us to Etna. The location of the accommodation is great, we used it mainly because of our planned trip to Etna. From the airport the drive was around 35 minutes by a car. The house itself is amazing, shame we arrived out of season, would have loved to use the pool. In general I have to say that it was one of my favourite accommodations.
