Very nice and helpful staff. We were walking and had a little trouble to find the place (most likely the problem was due to our phones and off GPS), but they waited after the check-in hours for us. The rooms were spacious and the restaurant amazing. Absolutelly outstanding breakfast with home made frittata and bruschetta at a beautiful terrace.

Soap in bath was tiny, too small. Towels B-, shower/tub sub standard with no safety bar no water pressure. Towel rack too cool.

It is a lovely old house in a very beautiful location. The breakfast was very good and the staff helpful and welcoming.

Noisy group in restaurant/bar area until 11:30 PM prevented sleep. There doesn't seem to be any staff at hotel after 7 PM so you you're on your own it seems. It is also a bit far from the central historical are of Gambassi Terme and for a good stretch there were no sidewalks so kind of precarious walking into town.

Room was nice but the bed was a bit lumpy. Breakfast was very good.

The property has a lot of potential (stunning views, lovely grounds) but it didn't feel like it was optimised. It's up a hill out of Gambassi so if you are hiking the via Francigena, bear in mind that you have to climb up hill at the end of your day! My single room also was right next to reception with no outdoor space - so didn't feel great value for money.

The breakfast was exceptional! Such a spread. The pool is also very pleasant.

Great breakfast but it would be better with hard boiled eggs rather than fried eggs. Also strangely we had to ask for our coffee. It wasn't offered.

The rooms are fantastic, as is the pool. Good breakfast. 10mins walk into central gambassi. We were a big group and all the restaurants were shut but we spoke to the cafe and they were able to do some simple food for us which was fantastic.

I loved this property. I walked the Via Francigena and it is far to walk to them and high up the hill. But when I checked in, I was upgraded and they offered to send a car to take me and my friends to their own restaurant outside of town. They brought us back again afterwards. Was wonderful.

Hard to get to at night driving, it is not hotel no one was there but keys were left for us. My Friend was worried if it was safe . I loved the idea that I had the whole place to myself.

I want to move there, amazing location best for bid parties or wedding but still very close to Florance for day trip.

The hotel stay was amazing with privacy and quiet atmosphere, the pool was clean, large and nice. Staff is welcomed and hospitable. It is highly recommended for a stay and exploring the area around.
