The driveway is narrow and once we had to reverse all the way back down but this is rare! It’s worth it!

A beautiful property set within luscious gardens. Loved the two pools especially the one hidden in the greenery. Rooms with exquisite furnishings - even the toiletries in cut glass containers. Moshik so helpful with recommendations and provides a great breakfast.

The Villa was beautifully decorated in keeping with the period in which it was built. It had a lovely pool area and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was excellent. The host Moshik was extremely knowledgeable and suggested many wonderful places to visit. He also made great suggestions for where to have dinner every night and he made the reservations for us.

The place is amazing ! beautiful villa with a huge garden in a very quiet area. Moshik, the owner, was great and helpful, the whole experience was unique and special. The only thing it is very far, you must have a car and wase in order to arrive to a piece of heaven :)

This place was amazing. The villa, and gardens, pools and scenery were spectacular. We were so happy with the villa and our host. I would recommend this to anyone traveling through Italy and I would love to come back to this area and do some more exploring.

Unique, extraordinary place with great atmosphere... Owner was very helpful and kind. He recommended us many tips and excellent restaurant in Castelnuovo. Breakfast inside the beautiful villa was perfect. At night we saw hundreds and hundreds of fireflies.

Location is a great place to explore the region, breakfast was great plenty of choice. Room had everything you needed good size and views were exceptional. About a 30 min walk to the town for food and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Would highly recommend staying here this was our second visit to the property!

Exceptional experience of superb location, luxury accommodation and attention to detail, combined with wonderful service from Moshik the owner and the staff. We were treated as individuals and with a genuine warmth and interest in our enjoyment and wellbeing. The breakfasts were extremely tasty and served in a beautiful part of the villa.

Had to scratch my head for this part: in our room, the water pressure in the shower could be be stronger.

Once you cross the entrance gate you feel like you've been transported back in time - in a good way! The property is located in an old Medici villa, perfectly restored and decorated. It's surrounded with beautiful gardens and two swimming pools, and conveniently located within a short distance from the village of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. It's a great place just for relaxing - It's very quiet - or for experiencing the Apuan Alps region, which is sort of a hidden gem in Tuscany. The owner was a great source for tips that helped us enjoy our vacation even more: good local restaurants and nearby sights for day trips.
