Amazing attitude from the beginning, messages about what time to arrive if there are any special requests. The hotel has parking, it is recommended to inform in advance that you are arriving with a car. The hotel staff took care of all requests. Gave lots of recommendations on where to visit the city. Asked and recommended all kinds of restaurants

The staff in particular are amazing, everyone we interacted with that worked there were lovely, helpful people. The resident dog, Lucy, in particular made our stay perfect. You can sometimes see her pottering around downstairs. Other than that, a clean, value place that is perfectly situated. Just a short walk up the hill into town. Quiet at night. Remember, you are not booking the Ritz, but a lovely, clean place ran by people who care about the guests. The view from the balcony was amazing and we often stayed in of an evening and sat watching it during our 7 night stay. Couldn’t recommend the place enough. Can’t wait to come back.

There was a weird smell in out bathroom, especially in the morning

Everybody was really kind and helpful. The location is perfect, the Corso Umberto is a 5 minute walk, the bus station is in front of the property and the calbe car is also really close. The breakfast was great, there were eggs, bacon, sausages, different types of pastries, fruits and muesli as well. The cappuchino is really good and we got fresh orange juice every morning. The room is big enough and the bed is comfortable. It was modernized, with newer flooring and furnitures. You cant hear anything from the busy street, but we sometimes heard when others arrived to their rooms next to ours. All in all, its was really good value for our money, we enjoyed our stay. There was a dog, Lucy, the “owner” of the property. Shes beautiful and friendly, she likes playing fetch.

Honestly, everything was great — no complaints.

Perfectly located in Taormina, walking distance to everything. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I already miss the delicious breakfast with a fantastic view, especially the fresh-squeezed orange juice! I would definitely stay here again.

It showed up that the location of Villa Astoria for us was 10 out if 10. Next to bus station, 200m to steps down to beach, 200m to cable car after return from beach. 400m to Gate Messina where main street starts. We had warm welcomed and given lots of info. Breakfast buffet is perfect with hot and cold selections, coffe to tast, freshly pressed orange juice, youghurt, fruit and cakes. Hotel offered transfer service to a near by beach with sun beds and welcome drink for € 16. A great deal. Staff was superfriendly, as also the dog greating us when we was 'at work' Thanks a lot. We will return

This is our 3rd time staying at Villa Astoria- we love it here. The most beautiful sea view, balcony, spacious room and bathroom. For being a 5 minute walk into Taormina centre it’s great value for money and the best in the area. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast, though it was more than sufficient for me and likely for most guests as well.

The villa is in a perfect location. Even if it’s your first time in Taormina and you don’t know what to expect, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the place. You can reach the city center from both sides of the villa, and just 300 meters away, there’s a cable car that takes you almost directly to Isola Bella. Parking is available for booking, which is highly recommended in Taormina. The rooms are spacious and equipped with air conditioning. The staff is very helpful and will provide you with a map highlighting all the must-see spots during your stay.

The pillows were quite firm and it would have been nice to have the option of two instead of just one. The TV didn’t seem to work, but we weren’t that bothered about watching it.

Good location, decent sized room and great views of the sea from small balcony. Rooms are basically furnished, but have everything needed, including small fridge and a/c. Enjoyed the fact the hotel has a friendly dog called Lucie who likes playing ball, although she doesn’t bother you if you don’t want to interact with her.

Wonderful!! Villa Astoria was fantastic to stay at. It suited exactly what I wanted and needed for my stay in Taormina. The location was perfect as it was outside of the tourist rich centre of Taormina giving some rest from the throngs of other tourists. Plus it was across from the bus station making it ideal for transport and a meeting point for tours. The room was excellent. The view. That view looking over the coastline. So good! I was so pleased with the standard of the breakfast as there were so many options both savoury and sweet. It was excellent and the breakfast dining room overlooked that incredible view. I could not speak more highly of the staff who made my stay so warm and welcome. Don’t hesitate. Book now!

Parking was a little expensive but as expected in Taormina and the parking was right on the property which was great

Luca and all the staff were so so lovely and helpful! The room had an incredible view which is worth staying, the room itself is a little out dated but worth it for the view. Good location little out of town but very short walk in, to the funicular and the beach access
