There isn't anything about the place I did not like

Quirky apartment - good size with a large comfortable bed and clean. Smallish bathroom with a good shower. Shared kitchen with microwave and fridge. About a 30 mins walk into town but well served by busses. Local shops nearby and staff very friendly and d helpful - a lot of Google Translate was used but we managed to understand each other. You could also use the garden. Found an amazing local bar just round the corner.

I liked everything - the location, the price, the design of the rooms and the furniture. Yes, this is the basement floor of a private house, so the windows are high and at ground level, it turns out -0.5 floor. But at the same time there is no feeling of inconvenience - the ceilings are high, the furniture and the windows to the garden create comfort. I liked the room for two more - it is lighter and larger. But a room for one when visiting Verona for a couple of days is also a great option. The shared kitchenette has a microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator. The hostess kindly provides coffee and sweets upon check-in. It is very nice. You can use the host's garden if the weather is good)

We loved this accommodation, perfect for one night in Verona. Stayed with my husband and 6 year old. Very comfortable. Great hosts, location, clean and authentic, would stay again.

The place was a little hard to find at night so definitely recommend coming earlier. It was around 20 mins from main Center. There's some grocery stores nearby but around 10 mins walk. Can hear people above - may live there or staff. It would have been great if there were some water bottles in the fridge or water available. No AC - Guy said it would be installed in sept (I came in aug). Definitely learn a bit of Italian or use Google Translate

I like how the room was big, had a shower, and toiletries. Bus stood nearby. Fridge to hold food. Thankfully they have me cold water bottle but had to ask for it.

It was a single bed. There was no cooking facilities. The main gate and main door were left open all hours which meant that I had to be mindful of keeping my room locked especially at night. I understand that this is to facilitate people being able to exit and come as they please but if this was changed to an automated process rather than a manual key it would eliminate the safety issue. There was not a reception area and the host wasn't present so you couldn't ask any questions. I only realised who the host was on my final day. She lives upstairs with her family. There's no means of contacting her except via email and she doesn't speak English at all. Also for some reason they don't facilitate late checkout. I had arranged early in my booking to check out later than 9:30 with my flight being at 22:15 which she had agreed to at no extra cost (I would have happily paid for my comfort and convenience). I'm not sure it's miscommunication but the day before arriving I emailed to confirm and was told they had someone coming at 10am for the room and that I could wait in the garden. I waited in the garden from 9:30am till 2pm where she was entertaining her family and so I had no privacy. Because I had vacated the room I also had no means to use the toilet as there was no bathroom facilities outside of the rooms and mine had been locked. Oh and the mystery guest didn't arrive all the while I was there so late checkout could have been accommodated after all.

There was a communal area with a microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. The communal area was cleaned every morning and tea bags good quality at that replenished. There is a much needed bottle of water upon arrival and some sweets.

There was no air conditioning. In the summer, when it's +37 outside, living in such a room is suicide. In addition, the kitchen room Ų is very small, without even the necessary tools.

Check in could've been a bit more clear. It is a self check-in situation and check in time is listed as 3pm, but I didnt hear anything from the host despite sending multiple messages via both whatsapp and booking.com. I had initially messaged at 2.15pm asking if it was possible to check in early to which I received no response. I decided to just wait until 3pm as listed to see if details would be sent through automatically. 3pm rolls around and I still haven't received any communication from the host. I decide to message again, and still receive no acknowledgement. It isn't until I try calling the host via whatsapp when I finally get a response. I think that if you have listed a check-in time, you should provide the guest with the appropriate check-in details by this time without the guest having to send multiple messages and call for a response.

The place is located only a 20 minute walk from the centre, and a 10 minute walk from the train station. The room is as described on the listing.

room on the basement floor. with a shared kitchen! there was no coffee. there is no heating. the humidity is terrible. in the morning we found worms in three places, we didn't want to take pictures of all of them, we didn't want to scare the children. we found ants in the shower. since we had another night, in the morning after packing up, we left early. I asked the hostess to refund the 90e for the second night or at least part of it, but she called them liars, accused them of making up things that we had collected worms in the garden :) When we talked to her and asked for money - she turned around and left without saying a word. This is the most unpleasant stay in Italy in several years. I never thought there were such people. I don't recommend Villa Angelina to anyone.. if I had refunded the money, I wouldn't have written such a comment, because everything happens to everyone. as we understood from the review, we weren't the only ones - worms. terrible.

Place was far off from picture provided on booking.com.Got room in wet basement size 5x5m for 4beds with low hanging chandelier the size of a spaceship. Dampness attracted insects ,having centipedes on the wall. "Kitchen" was a similar matter with second hand kitchen supplies. Coffee maker without Coffee. Slept through and ran quickly away without even a shower.

Location was accesible.Parking on spot .Lots of towels.

The rudness and impolitness of the owner. Was acting in a very savage and violante way.

The owner was very unfriendly, caused a whole fuse about being paid in cash after i already did the payment by card. Was very violante, physically as verbally. locked me out and telling me i ill not get my stuff back till i pay again in cash. Police has to be involved to solve the issue! Other family member of the owner was apologising for the disturbance and discomfort but this is unaccepteble!

It was perfect! The hostess is a super nice person, super gentle. The place is well located with everything nearby. It was absolutely clean, full equipped kitchen, nice people. We absolutely loved our stay. If one day we go back to Verona we’d defo stay at Angelina’s again.

Nothing, everything we needed was there.

The room was well equipped and clean. We could also use the kitchen and a fridge. A parking spot for the car was available. Great location, a walkable distance to the center.
