Just observation - it is not adults only type. If there is a family with kids then the pool side can be pretty noisy and splash rich. While rooms are silent. Also it is quite in distance from Como - car would be needed. While two restaurants at walking distance (5-10min) and hotel provides list of others nearby by car.

Modern, very clean and comfortable. Limited number of quests and good space around pool. No fridges in rooms but reasonable prices at honesty bar (fridge) - beer, water at 5€. Also wine, sparkling wine etc. Car parking available. Reasonable breakfast with good coffee options as per order. Egg based food (scrambled, omlette etc.) for additional 5€. Pretty good wifi. Good and friendly service by local staff.

Since the hotel is very far up the mountain you will need your car or a rented vehicle otherwise it's a 40-50 minute walk up hill, there is no public transport that reaches the location. Any shops/pharmacy/good restaurants or cafes are far down the village and not close to walk. A nice addition would be umbrellas for shadow at the pool and chairs inside the room.

The pool view is phenomenal, very relaxing and quiet, area and rooms are super clean and spacious, comfortable bed, delicious fresh breakfast, very kind and professional staff (Maria was exceptionally kind to us as well as the driver Arial!!), the village down is also lovely and a simple ferry port takes you all over the lake wherever you want! We loved our stay <3

The owner is the best. She manages the property of 6-7 rooms so it’s a small hotel feel! Pool is beautiful, rooms are clean, and felt very safe. Highly recommend!

Although the location is one of the factors that makes Villa Almana special, it was also unfortunately a negative during our stay. The neighborhood has only 2 restaurants within walking distance (one is closed most of the week which we found out the hard way, and the other is fairly expensive). There really are no food options around the hotel and with buses running infrequently to the center of town (service also stops well before dinner time), there was nowhere to get food. The hike down to town was extremely steep and essentially impossible to do at the end of the day back up the mountain. While on one hand we loved our stay at Villa Almana, we would urge anyone who plans on staying here to do research on transportation ahead of time to avoid any issues.

The view was spectacular from the stunning pool at Villa Almana. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning overlooking the lake was a highlight. Our room was spacious, modern, and clean and Anastasia and her staff were kind and welcoming. Overall it is a gorgeous property and a lovely place to take in the scenery of Lake Como.

We got a great room with the large Balcony and the Best view in all COMO. I am not sure all the rooms have this view.!! But from the Loby you may enjoy the view too. Breakfast was great, and the people are so nice.

The location was absolutely stunning, the villa was spacious, very clean and just perfect for a family trip away. Anastasia could not have been more helpful and nothing was ever a problem. One thing I would say is hire a car, do not rely on taxi’s.

The view and nature is amazing. Villa was renovated in a very modern and stylish way. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was also very delicious. It is located above a hill. Would be difficult to go without a car. Host was so kind to provide instructions for how to reach there.

Location was great. Not as crowded as in other parts of the lake. View from the property was gorgeous. Anatasia was very helpful with reservations, suggestions and gave us very clear instructions on how to get to the property. Property was clean and comfortable. It was not the easiest drive to the top to get to the property but it was all worth it.

The room was a little small, making it hard to unpack and move around. The drive up the hill is a narrow windy road. Better have a small car and good skills. House is relatively remote, requiring a drive to get anywhere.

Breakfast was quite good, and in a lovely room with a view. The house is modern and beautiful, with breathtaking views of the lake. Run by a friendly family. The pool looked wonderful, but was closed for the season.
