The perfect hide-out to relax. The calm surroundings and generous pool allows you to calm down in the summer heat. Not far from the Orvieto station; easy access to the bus or train to the old town of Orvieto or to the long distance trains which will bring you to Rome. Super kind staff! Leaving our luggage after check out was no problem and they always tried to make the very best out of our stay. Breakfast was amazing as well; fresh coffee or tea, a great range of Italian (sweet) breakfast options as well as more common options (bread, cheese, cereals, etc.).

The location is perfect, just 15 min walk from the train station and the funicular station that takes to the city centre. It is located on a hill at the outskirts of a small forest where, in June, we could see hundreds of fireflies. The room was rustic and clean and the staff was very friendly.

The location was difficult to get there if you had to walk. The hill was tough and at night, walking through the tunnel was a bit scary.

I loved the pool(even thought it was very cold). Very good breakfast. The staff made us our own coffees. The staff also helped us extend our stay which was very accommodating.

    Cannot think of a thing.

This is a lovely family run and owned hotel. Everything from the room, to the breakfast, warm cornettas, the beautiful grounds, the kindness of the staff was wonderful.

The shower head was somewhat run down and very grimy and there were a bit of mold stains in the bathroom too. Nothing negative as is traveling but do make sure to bring a translator, as the owners can't speak English (which is totally fine! :))

Very pretty location up on a hill, good connection to the autostrada. Breakfast was nice with freshly made coffee of all kinds. We had a lot of trouble finally arriving with the car and the owners were so kind as to stay up for us extra late, so big thanks to that again! View from the room goes out to the pool on the hillside, very pretty.

I'm not a fan of plastic curtains in showers but it all worked fine.

Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. The pool looked good but the weather wasn't good enough to try it out.

Loved it all. Breakfast by the pool w view and excellent coffee made it amazing

Everything! Room was nice, clean, great shower. Host was very kind and friendly. Great breakfast, lots of parking, beautiful views. Perfect stop to refresh. Local activities and food were great as well. So you are aware, directions are accurate but the drive is gravel so it felt like a home pulling up. In my opinion, it was more than homey - just seemed wrong until we knocked on the door

A beautiful and clean building in the middle of a beautiful green farm house in the best location. In which this hotel is located. The rooms are also very good and comfortable. The owner of the hotel and his family run the hotel together. And they are very cooperative with the customers. And they serve fresh and hot breakfast in the morning. If you go to relax, then this is the best place.

The pool was not open, which was disappointing - it was one reason we booked it. The staff didn't know much English.

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Location was a bit distant from Orvieto, but we came with a car so it was easy to go there and park. The breakfast was nice, with freshly made eggs!

Beautiful house in garden near train station

One of the cheapest accommodation which I found, but still too expensive for me, as I was alone in two beds room. There aren't olny couples in the world.

Nice villa in a bit remote garden area, but not far from the train station and to the historic center of Orvieto was it nice 1,5 km walk up to the hill or you can use a cableway or bus from the train station. The owners didn’t speak much English, but they were very friendly and prepared for foreigners to let me know everything important. Breakfast included in the price was very good with many choices and lot of local sweet pastries, which I was happy to try. And sitting in a garden next to a swimming pool with view to the landscape was pleasant start of the day. Room was big and too much comfortable (for me), with view to the garden and well working central air condition, which didn’t make any noise, because the device was outside for whole house.

Villa Acquafredda was well-run and easy to access. We cannot think of improvements.

The owners - two brothers- and staff who ran the hotel were very communicative and friendly. They were easy to engage in conversation and shared the interesting history of the site. Breakfast was generous, tasty and fresh. There was a lovely pool, but the temperatures were too cool outside to use it, but it looked appealing. Villa Acquafredda was well-located for accessing the tram that took you up the hill into Orvieto proper. The tram stop was convenient both for the upper town (the historic part) and the lower town. There were good restaurant options near the hotel for a light evening meal.

We were so warmly welcomed and everything was perfect. I feel like staying at my Italian grandpa's holiday cabin that never existed. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Shame it was a bit cold for the pool, but it definitely is a wonderful one. Bravo!

Some of the bathrooms are a little older and showing signs of wear. Sticking toilet flushers and shower attachments etc. Nothing major.

The villa is quite close to the town and up on a hill so it has good views and is far enough away to be quiet - no car or train noise. The property itself has a great swimming pool that gets wonderful morning sun and makes for a relaxing place to spend time.

To get there you have to go a little while through a road with no lights. It didn't feel safe to get to the hotel without a car in the night.

Workers were very nice and helped me with everything. Breakfast was good. Located near the station.
