How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It is difficult to find the address as the hotel name is not written outside. Please write your guest house name in front of the main building.

The building is pretty old and not well maintained. The elevator was broken the whole time, and since the hotel’s on the 4th floor, we had to carry our luggage up and down every time we went out. The bed felt a bit broken too, one side was noticeably deeper. Some of the electrical sockets were loose, so you had to angle your charger just right to make it work. But at least the WiFi was decent, plumbing worked fine, and the room was cleaned every day.
The place was okay for a short stay. What I liked most was the location super close to Termini and surrounded by lots of restaurants and convenience stores. The staff was friendly too, which made the stay feel more welcoming.

However, the elevator was out of order and our room was on the 5th floor, which made things really difficult for us. We weren’t informed in advance that the elevator wasn’t working, and that was very disappointing.
The location was great and the room was good for the price.

The AC didn't work in my room, and there was an issue with the door lock my second night there.
The location was great - very convenient for getting to and from the airport and catching buses to see the city.

The bathroom was a bit small with no room to place your toiletries and the shower base's drain was partially blocked so you couldn't run the water at full for very long before you felt the water would overflow.
The property is pretty run down but the location is fabulous. Good value for money if you don't expect much more than a comfy bed and minimal facilities.

Was a bit weird on the beginning because was like 6 hotels in the same building, but after the frist time you get use to it and there is no problem at all, the toilet made i loud noise but when you flush but i think thats a problem can easly be fix

Near the main railway station. Very fast check in/out and lift to 4th floor. The very reasonable price makes a perfect low budget stay when travelling. I will stay again when I need early flights from Rome airports.

But the surrounding areas is not that great. Poor instructions to find the check in counter. Bed was dirty with black bits that look like the sheets had not been changed. Also there was a foot print from a shoe in the middle of the sheets. Looks like someone stood on the bed sheets with dirty feet.
Location is really near the train station. Staff were friendly.

Shower was very small and water kept going from very hot to cold. No shampoo or body wash just a few little soap bars. Not enough towels or even an anti slip mat.
Very convenient location, close to the train station and all amenities.

the room had dirt under the beds, the bathroom was hot, noisy, the water didnt drain in the sink, the toilet seat was a différent size than the toilet pan! There was air conditioning but it still felt hot and stuffy. when the neighbouring hosts were coming back at night to their room it sounded like they were breaking in in our room!
it was the cheapest we could find, although it wasnt cheap per se! it was a 4 bed room but the added an extra adult bed for free.
