Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Beautiful with many places to sit and enjoy a drink, inside and outside. Quiet. Great location. And the spa was amazing!! I really liked being able to schedule a time slot for the spa and thus it was not crowded.

AustraliaMy only wish was that I could stay longer.
I love this hotel so much. Beautiful style and decor so carefully collected over the years. It has real charm and character. Best of all though are the staff. Welcoming and professional throughout. They were so helpful and caring to me and my husband when we unexpectedly needed medical care whilst in Turin.

FranceThe only small downside is that some practical information could be communicated more clearly at the beginning (like breakfast hours or pool access). A little improvement on this would make the experience absolutely flawless. Overall, a truly memorable stay – I definitely recommend this hotel!
A perfect stay at the Victoria Hotel! The location is ideal to explore the beautiful city of Turin. The staff were outstanding – friendly, attentive, and always helpful. The common areas, pool, and spa are very well organized, offering real moments of relaxation. Breakfast was simply incredible, with a wide variety and delicious options, and the servers were more than pleasant. A truly wonderful stay – I highly recommend this hotel!

United KingdomVerging on the rooms feeling a little dated. Limited timeslots in the spa.
Greta location, nice hotel, had a olde world grandeur about it. Staff were very helpful when we had an early start and had organised breakfast bags to take with us. The spa was great, with two steam rooms and sauna and range of pools. Definitely worth a trip!

United KingdomThe hotel was extremely hot upstairs as it was too soon in the year for the air conditioning to be switched on. Despite having booked a long way in advance and staying for 4 nights we had the room right beside the elevator which made it noisy.
Breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful. Spa and pool were great but the time slot was short. The staff were very helpful and friendly The location for all amenities, including the railway station, was perfect.

United KingdomThis is an excellent hotel for a sightseeing base, and you have the option to use the spa. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The staff were super efficient. There were a few minor issues. Our "superior" room was very small and nothing like the ones in the photos. Coffee making facilities were not provided but we were given a kettle etc when we requested one. The spa has no changing rooms so you need to go in your robe and swimwear which is a little awkward! It was also incredibly hot in the hotel. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but would probably not go back.

United KingdomThe location is very good but you've got about a ten minute walk before you get into the really interesting bit of town. The breakfast had a good range of items but the quality of some of the food wasn't amazing - the cake a bit stodgy, the yoghurt a bit thin, the bacon (and, yes, I know the Italians don't really do bacon) was limp and barely cooked. They ran out of eggs on the second morning we were there. But really, I'm nit-picking because this was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for the price.
A perfect hotel. Clean, comfortable, very obliging, helpful staff, good choice of breakfast items. They were so helpful to us regarding late check-out and allowing us to use the spa once we'd checked out because we had a long wait for our flight and the weather was awful. The spa was really lovely. And everything was superbly clean. There's a beautiful lounge with an all-day bar as well, so it was really comfortable.

QatarThe hotel charges 3 euros if you don’t have a swimming cap for the spa only to be used in the swimming pool. That’s fine if the pool is accessible at a decent temperature but it was so so cold. No one was getting into the pool and being January having a cold pool is not very smart. So the swimming caps we purchased at the spa didn’t get used a real waste of money.
The spa was so relaxing. The rooms lovely and cosy. The breakfast was tasty and the lobby by the fire place was so cosy and warm. The location right in the city centre so easy to get around. A lovely welcome for our dog with a personalised welcome note and bowls and cushions provided a nice touch. A great hotel, definitely recommend.

SwitzerlandNot a big deal but there's almost no parking directly at the hotel. They have discounts at a parking garage 5 mins away but we wrongly assumed we could park there when we booked and were a bit stressed when we were told no haha there's tons of parking in the garage and it's super close.
The top advantage of Hotel Victoria is the location. We were walking distance from all the sites of interest, Palazzo reale, museo egizio, piazza carlina etc. As well as bigger retail stores and smaller boutiques. The room was spacious and very comfortable, staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent with variety of protein, fruit, and some veggies and desserts. Lots of space in the Breakfast room and was frequently replenished. We enjoyed the spa but bear in mind they want you to wear a swim cap.
