How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe room was beautiful and clean. Well organised and I would definitely stay again. The location was close to the airport which is what was important. There was not much for us to do in the area but everyone was very welcoming. We did not have breakfast and we did not stay for a long time but the kitchen facilities were very good. Coffee machine, filtered water, cereal and jams. Nice clean kitchen and seating area. The owner was friendly and made sure we had the codes for all the doors.
The room was not quiet, it was a very busy main road. It was 17 minutes walk from Somma Lombardo station and Google maps helped. Honestly nothing not to like once we got there.

Verified reviewThe place seemed to be very modern, starting from the gates all doors are opened using codes & keypads. There is a good WiFi & kitchen downstairs. As we were with small kids we used the hotel transfer from the airport - 6 km distance from Malpensa Terminal 2 costs €20 during the day & €30 starting from 11pm. Unfortunately after we have enetered the room it was very cold. There was 18 degrees inside and it took couple of hours to heat up the room. Kids have already been cold from the outside and complaining about the cold inside as well. We arrived around midnight so just wanted to take a quick shower and go to bed as we had a flight the next day. To my surprise there was no hand soap, no shower gel, no shampoo, absolutely nothing! Luckily I had a 50 ml bottle shower gel from a different hotel and at the end the whole family (2+2) showered with few drops of shower gel in a very cold bathroom. There were plenty of towels and even laundry machine but not a single thing for self hygiene. This is very disappointing as over all the hotel & amenities were fine. This is absolute minimum to have at least a hand soap in the bathroom. My advice for the hotel is to look into this aspect as this is basic personal hygiene products, it's not so expensive but make a massive difference in overall experience.

Verified reviewWe booked stay through Booking and we changed notes with host via Booking messages. But in some point, without noting, host swiched to WhatsApp. I am not WhatsApp user. And from there everything went wrong. Transfer from airport to hotel was confirmed by host, but driver tried to reach me also by WhatsApp without success. I am not Whats App user. Ufriendly staff could not able to arrange new transfer in the night and cancelled totally our booking saying "I should have already been asleep 2 hours ago, but I had to wait for you :I". So we were not happy , we had to stay overnight at the airport. Host, try to justify his booking cancellation with referring me not willing to upload my delicate personal information to some unknown fishi app. I told him he will get copies of documents when we be at the place.

Verified reviewFamily driven business. As per description I got that this is a hotel, but it is more like pension. It was a bit hard to find them as we arrived late evening and it was terrible rain. But after giving them a call, everything was quickly resolved. For future I think the host should provide some recommendation, how to find the place in advance by email or message. A lot of toiletries in the room. Anyway, guys are tring to do their best. And price very reasonable. We stayed there just one night, so for us it was ok,
Beds for me are not so comfortable. As per description I got that kitchen facilities and equipment is in the room, but it is shared kitchen downstairs. Pastry for breakfast was not fresh at all. And this is one more point for improvement, I think. I would prefer to have fresh croasan and toasts instead of tons of toiletries.
