We were slightly duped by the description. I was supposed to be working while my family went sightseeing, no wifi and the response was ask the cleaners when they come in after 10am, obviously my 08:30 meetings were held in a busy noisy cafe. The kitchen area had no utensils, crockery or cutlery and only a two ring hob. A medium size fridge served all the rooms and was raided by another group who thought it was a comp unit. The building itself is a beautiful place, with a gorgeous quintessential Italian lift. With a food clean,(dirty floors so wear slippers) with a bit of a tidy up the ‘apartment’ would be fabulous.

For access to the Vatican it was exceptionally easy, and was a great location for sightseeing Rome as a whole.

Maps on iPhone isn’t correct, took us a while to find. Shown a local guy the message which he then helped us to find the correct location. Shower had no pressure and wasn’t warm. Was what it was for a quick wash and cool down

Perfect location for what we needed for the night. Contacted via text with instructions (in Italian!) which was ok, copy n paste into translator, no problem. Keys were left with the very helpful shop worker below as instructed. Simple pastry and drink for breakfast in the cafe just around the corner. Very secure with numerous keys for different doors.

Bathroom could be a bit cleaner, tap head is broken and comes off in your hand but still works. Shared kitchen didnt have enough plates or any cutlery just one small pan and a kettle. Had to spread marmalade on our bread with our fingers and cut off chunks of pecorino with the bottle opener/Swiss army knife.

Bedding was clean, bedroom was clean enough. Room was fine. Location by the Vatican was excellent, pharmacy and supermarket nearby.

Cleanliness of bathroom, condition and size of fridge. Tourist tax 7 EUR/1 night is not charged for children under 10, but we had to decide for a long time.

We booked a room with two single beds, but got a double bed and a double cover. The area is extremely noisy so forget about open windows and it is a bit of stretch to write "breakfast included" when what you get is a coupon for a little bar on the corner for one cup of coffee and a cake.

The location is great and all the 'must sees' are within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean.

The room was in a different location than the one shown in the reservation. They informed us about this just a few minutes before arriving there. The photos shown on Booking had nothing to do with the actual room. There was no bathroom door. The walls were very thin, we could hear people talking in the other room. The water was mostly cold, we could never get a proper shower.

It was not clean at all . Kitchen was not usable , we didn’t not use the kitchen. The room was with pests . And the water in the shower was very very little and slow which was not easy to take a decent shower . The shower area was small as well . And the elevator was too small where you cannot carry more than one suitcase at once . Overall it’s not a good place for a family stay.

There is NO WI-FI. And the owner is not replying at all. We take 30min to find where is the key, the owner just give us a location and nothing more. And no instructions for check out.

Customer service was bad, and they didn't deliver on what was advertised. We didn't have wifi access for over 24h because after 2 failed leads (we didn't get access to the kitchen that was supposed to have the password, then a wrong password was sent to us), the person who was in contact with us disappeared even though she promised to resolve the issues by next day. We finally got the correct wifi password because we contacted booking.com to complain, but never got access to the kitchen that had been advertised. Also, we didn't get one of the renovated, nice rooms in the photos, but an older, dungy one. Still okay value for the money, if the customer service hadn't been so poor.

The location was good, it was nice to be able to walk to the metro station and the neighborhood is pleasant.

We couldn't reach the WIFI although we, ve tried all the options available. Also, the refrigerator in the room wasn't working. I think others have mentioned these before.

The location is close to the Vatican on foot, a 5' walk. Also, there is a metro station Ottaviano 8' walking where you can use to reach the centre. You can also walk to the centre which will take you approximately 15-20'. The room was comfortable and felt very secure. It was totally clean and every 2 days we had clean towels. The host is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was only a croissant with coffee at a store next to the apartment. You can buy more options if you like!. The owners were very friendly.

The room was not anything like any of the photos advertised, it was dated and small in comparison. Communication from the owner was poor and vague, making the process of finding our keys/room take unnecessarily long. Air con is advertised, but there was no remote for it so you can’t actually use it. We also booked double beds but got small singles instead (however they are comfy). Owner gave zero instructions on where to leave the keys at checkout, and had no idea we had handed them back in where we eventually found them on arrival.

Room was safe and clean/tidy. Location is walking distance to the Vatican. Breakfast consists of a nice pastry of your choice, as well as some drinks (hot or cold) and the cafe which hosts this is just around the corner.
