Attilio was a very friendly and helpful host. The place was clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and modern. The 2 air conditioners (in the bedroom and living area) were also very welcome during the hot summer nights. The location just a few minutes from the bus stop and ferry dock was very convenient and it was an easy 5-10 minute walk to the main waterfront area. Overall would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little apartment. It was well equipped with everything we needed and in a fantastic location — just a short walk to the lake, ferry, and restaurants. A great base for exploring beautiful Varenna and the surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the location! So close to the station and Lake Como. The apartment was the perfect size, clean and comfortable....The private terrace area was a great place to chill in the evenings. Communication with the host was great. Attillio had thought of everything we would need and was extremely helpful. Would recommend.

One major issue is that the hot water is barely enough for 1 person to take a shower. Even after waiting 15+ minutes, water was just Luke warm for next person. We had 3 in our group and the third was just waiting until evening or next day to shower. Another minor issue with sink water draining very slowly.

Nice place at a very good location. 2 mins walk from station, few mins walk to ferry and about 10 mins from the center. Very convenient location. Host was very helpful and friendly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Lake Como rental! The location couldn’t have been better — just a short and pleasant walk from the train station, ferry terminal, Villa Monastero, and Villa Cipressi. Everything we wanted to explore was right at our doorstep. We spent the day strolling through the charming streets, visiting the beautiful lakeside villas and gardens, and enjoying delicious meals at lakefront restaurants. The views were breathtaking everywhere we turned, and the convenience of being able to walk to everything made the experience even more enjoyable. The rental itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a perfect home base. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway or a relaxing day of sightseeing, this place is an ideal choice. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lake Como!

That it rained so much we couldn’t use the private patio!

It was up to date and immaculately clean. The host, Attilio, had a bottle of bubbles waiting on the table for us and he was most welcoming and helpful. Everything worked properly and it was close to the station, lake, ferry terminal and restaurants.

- tv old not equipped with streaming, 3 English channels (20,21,22) - Plugs near bed aren’t great for travellers as the plugs turn the lights on/off but there are a few that are. - one of the air conditioners malfunctioned which is getting fixed after our stay. We had to keep towels down as it was dripping condensation. Luckily they provide many towels. It didn’t bother us as there was another aircon, and it does freshen up at night!

We should have stayed there for longer than two days. We really did not want to leave!

I wanted to wait until I was home from my vacation to fully give my attention to the review of Varenna Sweet Home. Of all the places we stayed in this was our favourite. Atila picked us up from the train station and walked us the short distance back to the suite. Atila paid attention to all the details to make our trip special. There was a binder of information for us to utilize, wash machine and dishwasher pods for us to use as well the kitchen and bathroom were very well equipt. The pullout couch in the living room was just as comfortable to sleep on as the queen-size bed in the bedroom. We were so comfortable!! What we loved the most was the large patio area. We had a table to sit and eat at, lounge chairs, and room to hang out our laundry on the line. It was such a lovely sanctuary and we are so very grateful we stayed at this suite. Thank you, Atila! PS: thank you for the proscecco, too!
