The location is simply perfect- right in the heart of town but with the added privacy we desired. Watching sunsets from the balcony with its stunningly amazing views was a highlight, as was the ease of ordering food and drinks from the cafe below. The restaurant found just up the alley from the front door was divine, with great service and quintessential views. The apartment is easily accessed, has all of the modern comforts we needed while still retaining the authentic charm of the area. We would recommend this to anyone traveling to the area- it is THE best location in Varenna and Andrea was a great host- meeting us for check in and answering any questions we had.

The host Andrea was wonderful and very good communicator. The cafe downstairs is his, and was always available. Wonderful breakfast too. The location is perfect, coffee on the terrace overlooking the lake, was so nice! Highly recommend, even though pricy, worth it!!

Truly special location with the water lapping. Sensational balcony. Full equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Bed comfortable good shower with excellent water pressure. The owners have the cafe downstairs is such an added bonus for whatever you need for drinks and food if you don’t want to self cater.

Perfect location, balcony right on the water seeing the most beautiful sunset. So peaceful sleeping to the sounds of the waves from the lake , the restaurant below is also ran by the owner and has exceptional food, ate there for both breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay here again!

We had never been to Como before and weren't sure what to expect. Varenna Caffe Apartment was the absolute perfect place to experience Como. I saw the pictures online of the view but it was hard to do it justice! The porch sat out on an upper floor at water's edge with the sounds of the lapping waves, the view of the pristine lake, the mountains everywhere, the Alps, the twinkling village lights across the lake at night, and the incredible sunset! The apartment was so homey and spacious-well-appointed kitchen and bath, a separate sitting area, wonderful mattress in the bedroom. Andrea was so helpful in letting us in, showing us the place, and helping us one night with a question we had. You are above the Verenna Caffe but the sounds just added to the unique experience, and didn't stay late. I recommend the hosts and apartment wiht greatest enthusiasm.

Andrea was very helpful - he picked us up from the the train station in the rain! I wonderful time and in the best area of Varenna. Loved the prosecco and a lovely view from the balcony of the lakeshore. Also, the cafe below was perfect!

Location is outstanding. The view every morning was fantastic. Great host really went above and beyond and helped when we left something behind on the apartment. Also don't forget the caffe downstairs. The chocolate croissants were my wife's favorite on the entire trip.

I wouldn't have wanted to have stayed anywhere else in Verenna. The location of the apartment was perfect. We spend time sitting on the balcony enjoying the scenic view of the lake. The host was friendly and welcoming.

If you want to have an amazing and wonderful experience...this is the place! We won't ever forget our time spend in Varenna! The apartment over a wonderful cafe on Lake Como has the most amazing view of the lake and towns opposite. The apartment itself is immaculately styled and has all the appliances you could need . You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner downstairs! If you want you can eat breakfast on the beautiful balcony in a very idyllic atmosphere! The food and service were very good! The hosts Andrea and Elena are extraordinary and very kind! Thank you for all! We hope we will return soon!

Absolutely nothing - it exceeded all our expectations.

The location is right on Lake Como and has the most amazing view of the lake and towns opposite. The apartment itself is immaculately styled and has all the appliances you could need for a long term stay, including a modern bathroom, air conditioning, and washing machine. Any assistance required was always generously provided by the hosts Andrea and Elena, as well as the amazing staff that work at jointly owned Varenna Caffe downstairs. We dined at the cafe almost everyday for either breakfast, lunch and/or dinner and were completely taken by the beautiful food and service!
