We could have done with more hooks and hangers and perhaps a set of drawers in the bedrooms.

Our room was so pretty and quaint with original farmhouse features and tiled floors. It was a quadruple room, which was two rooms separated by a short open corridor with small bathroom - perfect for keeping an eye on the kids and with excellent aircon in each room. Shutters and fly screens on both windows were useful and the lighting options were good (kids room didn’t have bedside switches). The room was made up every day. Breakfast was gorgeous typical Italian range of cakes, breads, meats, cereal, yoghurt, cheese all delicious and changes through the week. The pool was massive! The pool area was well appointed with loungers umbrellas and a small bar serving snacks drinks and ice creams. Watch out for the GPS which took us up a laneway meant for tractors!! An extra ten minute drive up a steep road and around a ridge took us there the proper way lol!! This is a family run place that hosts local events - one night there was an 18th birthday party with music ending around 1am.

The morning breakfast buffets were outstanding, and the overall amenities and accommodations on site were well worth it. All staff were very accommodating, friendly and kind throughout our stay. Would have loved to stay longer if we were able to.

We felt that a larger mirror and dressing table would have been helpful as there wasn't a lot of storage space for toiletries etc.

We had a lovely stay at Valle Dell'Aquila with our family. The room was the perfect size for the five of us and was very clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast, surroundings and pool area. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The whole place looks like it has been closed up for a while and is just being reopened. There were many boxes of delivered items in reception. Internally, things seemed to have been recently painted but the showers pressure was low. Also, I doubt that any man or large woman would have been able to fit between the shower doors to get in. Those that managed it would have difficulty moving in the cubicle. Outside the gardens were being tended to BUT the pool area was closed, with no water even though they advertise it being open. The pool furniture, tables and chairs all need replacing as they are falling apart. The flooring under the pool seating area was cracked and broken.

The room was large as was the bed, which was firm but comfortable. It is in a valley at the end of the road; so, it was fairly quiet. Food was nice and staff was nice and helpful.

Lovely warm welcome from the owner who generously provided us with an evening Meal on our first night after we asked if we could eat at the venue. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful and the staff very friendly. Venue was as described and even though the rain followed us there for a bit, the villa was peaceful, comfortable and very relaxing.

There were a lot of mosquitos so bring plenty of jungle spray (thankfully the rooms had screens on the windows and balcony door). Maybe just the time of year Bathroom was small, shower cubicle was tiny but we managed by leaving the door open. Minor inconvenience though as everything else excellent

We liked everything about the property. It was clean and the surroundings were beautiful. The food was good and the waitress in the morning and evening was extremely helpful and thoughtful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The pool was excellent as snacks were of a high standard. We are finding it difficult to pick out faults.

We were not told that the pool would not be available. The pool area was not prepared for guests, including the loungers.

The staff spoke limited English, but were friendly and helpful and we appreciated their flexibility to serve us food outside their restaurant hours. (We were the only hotel guests staying)

Super friendly staff and excellent food! My kids insisted on staying also for lunch the following day, we loved the home made pasta with truffles. Lots of fun in the swimming pool, we even enjoyed our Aperitif there. Will surely come back!

The location was perfect for our visit to Settefrati to learn more about grandparents. The Country house was in two beautiful stone buildings which adds to its charm. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the day we left they were hosting a wedding reception. The landscaping had many beautiful flowering plants and there is a covered patio for relaxation. I can’t say enough about how attentive and kind the entire staff were. They accommodated our every request with a smile.
