This is a very friendly little hotel in the historic centre of Orvieto. We particularly liked the smiling and helpful staff, extremely well designed air-conditioned room, and home-made cakes at breakfast. We left an item behind when we left, and their response was excellent.

Clean, basic rooms. Centrally located in Orvieto, in a quiet street close to Corso Cavour. Hospitable. Nice breakfast. Valentino also speaks his languages for having lived in many places.

The only thing that could have been better, and was a bit amusing, was the small, triangular shower. Barely big enough to fit in, and no shelf to put any shampoo or soap on, but it worked. The rest of the bathroom was quite large. Everything else was so amazing that it was easy to look past. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a fantastic last-minute find. It was the best hotel we stayed in our entire trip. The room was great, big, comfortable, clean, and quiet. The front desk guy, Val, was amazing. So cheerful, helpful, and accommodating. He made our entire experience a pleasure. We enjoyed chatting with him. There was a parking garage available to keep our car overnight which was great. A great value too. Location is in old town, convenient to all the historical attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was included and was simply amazing. A big buffet with bakery-quality pastries, croissants, meats, cheeses, cereal, yogurt, juices, coffees made to order by a barrista. A dining area to sit down and enjoy it all. I can't say enough about it.

Nice hotel a little off the beaten path in Orvieto with easy walk to Funicular. Room spotless, great shower with instant hot water. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, good cappuccino, nice staff. Our only complaint is very poor WiFi connection…. We do recommend for value but they really need to upgrade WiFi service.

Not an issue of the hotel, but the funicolare was not operating while we were there. It was raining heavily when we arrived and the operator just closed the station and walked away; fortunately we snagged a taxi. Leaving town the weather was fine, but the funicular was still closed. This time the station was open and we were directed to a bus that took us down the hill.

Location was great, hotel was charming in an older building with nice architectural features, The staircase is very nice (but the elevator was more convenient). Breakfast was fine, the coffee was very good with a barista making nice cappuccino. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Elevator seemed to hang on for dear life. Maintenance was years overdue according to the stickers.

Walking distance to center. Can park your car to unload. Car park is a small walk. Breakfast was complete. Room had good layout. Bathroom big enough.

Really enjoyed staying here. Our room was not very big, but the space was used very efficiently so it did not feel cramped at all for two people. Very high marks for cleanliness, comfort of the beds, and a great shower with excellent water pressure. The proprietors are wonderful - so helpful and kind! And a nice breakfast, excellent coffee that is prepared for you by the barista. No lame automatic machines here ;)
