Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Close to Pompei ruins. I definitely recomend Vaiafora. Luigi was helpfull even after we left apartment, because he send us by UPS forgotten jewellery. Very honest people!

NetherlandsThe pillows were a bit too high for our comfort, and the hot water in the shower wasn’t always consistent. Breakfast could be improved with a few fresh local items. Also, keep in mind that it’s about a 15-minute walk to the city center, which might be a bit far for some, especially with young kids.
The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The room was clean, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was simple and typical for Italy – packaged croissants, fruit, Nutella, milk and coffee. The location was peaceful and well-situated for day trips.

United KingdomWe liked everything about the B&B however, personally driving in the area was a challenge, narrow streets and lots of other cars on the road, maybe not always following driving regulations. If you can arrive by train the station is a short walk away from the property, or use a local taxi driver.
Our host Luigi was excellent, he communicated really well with us, helped us with booking recommendations for evening meals (and arranged a 10% discount) helped us instantly when we broke the corkscrew and was genuinely friendly and caring that we enjoyed every day. The apartment had been recently decorated to a high standard, we cooked a couple of times and there was ample equipment for this, the bathroom was lovely and the A/C very effective which is required in the Pompei summer. We had 2 large teenagers and 2 adults and for 3 days we have enough room. Typically we spent an hour at the end of the day before sleeping and an hour in the morning over breakfast. The teens were on a bunk which was comfortable despite being tall. Our bed was large and very comfortable, we had plenty of spare pillows, blankets etc and the place was very very clean and tidy. There is a small area at the front where we sat for a coffee to plan the day, the street itself if quiet and we felt secure and safe, the neighbours were friendly to us and Luigi and his family live next door so we had no issue in parking our car behind his gate. There is occasional noise from the main road but largely the street was calm with little passing traffic. It is easy to walk to Pompei city centre and then onto the ruins of Pompeii itself, there are a number of small shops on the way and a co-op supermarket within 1km if you need. Personally I found driving and parking a challenge in the area, however I still highly recommend a drive along the Amalfi coast and through the mountains. In summary we found this exceptional value considering the prices we paid elsewhere in Italy and considering the added value we got from Luigi as host and the high standard of equipment and comfort as standard.

CanadaAbsolutely nothing that we didn't like.
The modern accommodations were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well situated. More importantly, our hosts, Luigi and Rosa, were extraordinary. They gave us a warm family welcome and prepared a well-stocked refrigerator and "pantry" for our breakfast and snacks. They also provided very valuable information on sightseeing, transportation, and restaurants. They were always quick to respond to any requests and were always close by, while also respecting our privacy.

AustraliaEverything was perfect.
New property just listed.Beautifully presented, with lots of attention given to the little extras that mean so much when you are travelling. For example, a small first aid kit, a generous fruit basket and abundant breakfast and snack supplies.

HungaryLuigi and Rosa are great hosts. We didn't miss anything. The communication with Luigi, as soon as we made the booking, was very easy. He helped us find a private guide and cooking class. I highly recommend this B&B if you're visiting Pompei and the region.

United KingdomThere was nothing we did not like.
The apartment was modern and extremely clean. We had everything we needed and Luigi and Rosa were the perfect hosts, even getting us pizza when there was a crazy thunderstorm. The apartment is a short walk from restaurants, cafes, shops and the station. There is a supermarket on the corner of the road too, so it's in a good location. We went in December and there were Christmas decorations in the rooms which made it a real festive break. There was a vast selection for breakfast too.

Czech RepublicWe would like that other hosts and apartments will be like Vianfora B&B
We had a great time in Pompeii thanks to Luigi and his nice apartment. Luigi is a very pleasant host and always ready to help you. He considers it really important that his clients are satisfied. We made the reservation just a few hours before arrival and we were able to check in and park our car even much earlier. The house is in walkable distance from Pompeii ruins, private parking is available. The house is in a quiet street but the main street nearby is really busy. The apartment is perfectly clean and nicely decorated. Everything is ready for a good breakfast. There are window shades and mosquito nets in the door and windows. You can sit outside in a private garden.

SloveniaWe liked everything. First, the owners are above average friendly and hospitable. They give you a warm welcome and are there for you for any questions. The apartment is excellent, very cosy and very clean. Everything is like new. They leave you with a rich breakfast, you can use also the coffee machine. In this apartment you feel like being at home. The location is great, you can reach the city centre with restaurants, Pompei ruins or bus for Vezuv in 15 minute walk, while your car is on the parking behind the fence. Definitely worth of coming back. Keep up the good work Luigi & Rosa 🌞

ItalyIt just needed two little bedside lights for the evening
The place was nicely set up, all modern with cute touches. It had all the little things you would need when travelling, like makeup pads and ear buds etc.. Outside is a small Terrasse which they made quite romantic with twinkling lights in the evening. The place is just a short walk into town where the cathedral and the archeological site is.
